Really, Really Nice

ASUS RT-N56U Wireless Router Dual Band N600 Multimedia Ultra Slim Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n support USB Storage, Print and Media Server
ASUS RT-N56U Wireless Router Dual Band N600 Multimedia Ultra Slim Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n support USB Storage, Print and Media Server

Pros: The reviews are not wrong when they state this is a surprisingly good router. My last router was a Cisco Valet; this box is on an entirely higher level. The guts of this router more then match the sharp looking exterior. Fast and easy to setup. Communications with my devices are solid. Help screens are actually helpful and informative. Should have bought this before; was a BIG improvement!

Cons: 1. Gets a little warm

Overall Review: I have it working with my printer (C4440 Photosmart) and a 2 TB hard drive. The printer is not on the router's approved list and I haven't its copier functions yet. However, it prints just fine and warned me that the ink was getting low, so at least most of the functions work through the router. Highly recommended with 5 eggs.

GIGABYTE GA-AX370-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-AX370-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Worked for 8 months.

Cons: Will no longer complete the posting process; just loops

Overall Review: Not recommended! I recently upgraded the BIOS to F10. After a few days, the primary BIOS seems to have been corrupted; the motherboard enters a loop and never reaches the BIOS. The backup BIOS allowed me to boot the PC once, than seemed to suffer the same fate. It is possible that the XMP was a contributing factor; F10 turned off XMP and set the RAM to the slowest speed and I turned XMP back on. I wrote to Gigabyte customer service; after several days I have received no response. Disappointing!!! Still hoping that I can find a resolution but losing faith and looking for alternative motherboards.

I was hoping it would work.

ASUS Prime X570-Pro Ryzen 3 AM4 with PCIe Gen4, Dual M.2, HDMI, SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 ATX Motherboard
ASUS Prime X570-Pro Ryzen 3 AM4 with PCIe Gen4, Dual M.2, HDMI, SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 ATX Motherboard

Pros: The LED lights are nice.

Cons: The one thing that I've never gotten from this motherboard is a connection to a monitor. I have tried different graphic cards, different monitors, different hdmi cables, DVI and display port cables, different RAM, and different power supplies. (Yes, this motherboard has a list of compatible power supplies - didnt expect that and still don't know why) and anything else I can think of. I reset the motherboard by shorting jumpers and pulling the battery. I've been on the phone with ASUS; they confirmed that everything I'm have now is compatible but had no answers for. Google hasn't yet offered a solution. I'm pretty frustrated with the fool thing. I have the feeling that if I could just read the display it would tell me what the issue is. If I knew why a Corsair RM750 was compatible but a Corsair RM750x was not, maybe I could get it to work. All I can think is there must be a need for another connection. It sure seems as though it should be a graphics card issue, but the graphics card worked fine in another computer. All the LEDs seem to work, and all the fans do to. Yes, even the fans on my CPU and graphics card. I don't like to admit that I'm beaten, but I'm out of ideas and optimism. Unless someone out there is cyberspace offers some ideas or suggestions, I'll be reinstalling my old motherboard and sending this disappointing motherboard (and maybe 3600X) back to NewEgg.

Overall Review: I cannot recommend a product that I cannot get to work.

Works fine... once I updated Bios

Team T-Force Night Hawk 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Memory (Desktop Memory) Model THRD432G3200HC16CDC01
Team T-Force Night Hawk 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Memory (Desktop Memory) Model THRD432G3200HC16CDC01

Pros: I plugged this into a Gigabyte AX370 5 motherboard. It was (and is) on the supported RAM list so I expected it to work. After I updated the BIOS to F6 it ran just fine at 3200.

Cons: Until I updated the Bios it wouldn't run at the advertised speed.

Highly Recommended!

Cons: None
