Pros: Cheap, stable, and does what I need it to do.

Cons: Seems poorly optimized out of the box. After the software was up and running I popped back to the BOIS to check things out (not sure how that wasn't the very first thing I did). Normal features such a Hyper-Threading, Turbo Boost, Speed Step were all turned off (why?).

Overall Review: All in all... it was cheap and it works so far. I actually purchased this an a 2600 to pop in to an existing system. I unplugged the hard drive from a Athlon X2 4200+ (the original X2) and plugged it straight in to this MB. Booted up and aside from having to re-activate Windows, I encountered no issues. While I still plan to do a clean install, it's always nice to know I'm not dealing with any exotic components that will cause drama down the road.

Comments: I've bought several of these for use in my own and others computers. They work well, don't make alot of noise... but they seem to have a relatively high premature failure rate. Unusual for Antec, maybe it was a bad batch, but of 5 or 6 that I've bought 4 have failed within 6 to 9 months.

Pros: Got it from Newegg/UPS promptly and hooked it up. Win 7 x64 recognized it without any problem. Burns quick... so far of the 3 DVD-R's I've burned I haven't had a problem.

Cons: None that I can find in my short time with it.

Comments: Been running this drive for nearly a year now... using it in an HTPC setup. I downloaded the utility from samsung that allows you to change setting such as noise level and interface speed. Setting it to low noise made a slight difference in the amount of sound coming out of it. There was a very slight reduction in performance after changing this but still performs well for my purposes. All in all a good drive.

Comments: As usual, my order from newegg went fantastic. Arrived sooner than expected and in excellent shape. Product does what its supposed to do, decent picture quality and seems to be compatible with my setup (everyone else that had problems probably didn't follow the instructions exactly, I too had problems when I neglected to open the manual). However one problem. In the user manual, it states that this product comes with 2 internal audio connector cables. They are however not included. In good-ol' ATI fashion, several e-mails to ATI customer care have failed to produce any more than frustration, and definately not any cables.
