Simple, clean, works

ASUS Prime B350M-A/CSM AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX Motherboards - AMD
ASUS Prime B350M-A/CSM AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX Motherboards - AMD

Pros: - Simple, clean look - Overclockable - Stable/reliable - Provides a decent amount of features, including M.2, 4-6 SATA ports (depending if M.2 is used), "advanced" UEFI options

Cons: - Limited in some features from more expensive boards and x370 chipset

Overall Review: While I generally am not first to rush to new tech immediately upon market release, I felt confident in AMD and Ryzen, and even more so after the last 2 months of usage. I picked up an 1800x, 32GB G. Skill DDR4-3200 kit and this motherboard -- all brands I have been comfortable with and had good service results for at least the last decade. To state, this board is quite simply a solid mATX AM4 motherboard with the B350 chipset. It overall balances a decent mix of features, expansion and price, without sacrificing too much in any one area. It will not be an overclocking king, have every fan header necessary for a maximum air cooling, multiple PCIe x16 slots for Crossfire-X/SLI, multiple M.2 slots, or even 8+ SATA ports for ridiculous amounts of storage capacity. While I was looking at some higher end Gigabyte, ASRock and Asus boards, I already had an mATX case and did not want to spend an additional $80-200 on a new case, plus an additional$90-140 for the higher end motherboard. I may still upgrade later should I feel the need and perhaps new CPUs release, but right now I'm content with with my modest 3.85GHz OC on all 8 cores, and RAM @ 2933MHz and 49" 4k TV (hopefully upgrading to RX Vega once it releases). All in all, don't expect the world, but it's also no slouch either; overall, a cost-effective step into the world of Ryzen.

FINALLY!!

Hynix 8GB 2x 4GB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 Desktop DIMM memory AMD CPU motherboard
Hynix 8GB 2x 4GB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 Desktop DIMM memory AMD CPU motherboard

Pros: Works great in my AMD X3 Steam box. Cheap.

Cons: Only supports AMD boards, but fortunately I was aware and required this. Overseas order.

Overall Review: The original tracking number I received showed it was delivered to some place in Georgia, and I was livid (because I live in Texas). I filed a claim (which Newegg's customer service was awesome for this -- 5 eggs guys) and heard back from the seller, whom admittedly stated they provided the wrong tracking information. They corrected this, and my package was in fact en route with another day before delivery. All in all, it was a VERY lengthy process, because it took 3 weeks from order to delivery. Understandably, I knew this was coming overseas, but still -- it's a long time to wait.

Excellent, affordable case

Rosewill - FBM-01 Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case with Dual Fans
Rosewill - FBM-01 Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case with Dual Fans

Pros: It's small, effective, had only the ports I needed (didn't need nor care about USB3.0 etc) and it's working great for a SteamOS box with spare parts I had. I have a slightly longer video card, but fortunately the drive bays sit just above the card slot, with a little room to spare.

Cons: It's a very budget case, so I didn't expect high end anything from it. It's very light and thin, doesn't have much for options, but it more than serves my needs.

Overall Review: Definitely worth the $30 I paid for it. It's a decent layout, has some ventilation, and it has enough space for the components I've installed.
