Good quality card

Club 3D Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card CGAX-R9276
Club 3D Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card CGAX-R9276

Pros: - Has run Guild Wars 2, The Witcher 1 and 2, Dota, and a few (older) games all on max settings without a sweat while staying relatively cool - Quiet. For comparison, it is rougly as loud as my Cooler Master 212 Evo (stock). My WD Blue 7200 RPM HDD is louder than this card - Has worked very well with my dual-booted desktop (Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) - Has a higher stock core/boost clock than some other brands Reasons to choose over other brands: - Looks pretty cool - I think the reason this does not need a dual fan is because of the quality of the heatsink. This card has a pretty good amount of copper in it which allows for good heat dissipation. You can see from the picture two big pipes sticking out from the card. -Very well made and feels solid. Almost no plastic other than the fan

Cons: - Not dual fan, but not really a con since I bought this knowing this fact (obviously) and from what I have experienced, it doesn't seem to need it. -One display port instead of two like some other brands

Overall Review: I hadn't heard of Club3D and couldn't find a review anywhere on this card, but according to what I did find, they are pretty well regarded in Europe. I got a deal on this item elsewhere for $170 when all of the AMD cards were crazy expensive due to mining price inflation. I haven't really tested the card too much on newer games. I plan to get Titanfall soon so I will update when I have more stuff to report. I was planning on overclocking the card but it runs everything I have thrown at it flawlessly so there has been no need to. In general, I think the R9 270 is the perfect sweet spot for gaming (especially with prices coming down now). I personally don't think it is worth the extra $20-30 for the 270X since you can pretty much achieve the same result by overclocking the 270. Will update when I run some newer games (planning on getting Titanfall soon)
