This review is from: G.SKILL RIPJAWS MX780 USB Wired RGB Laser Gaming Mouse
Pros: Good looks, quality workmanship. Lighting effects are very nice.
Cons: 2 Cons:
1.Software needs help with Windows 10 and auto startups. had to remove software from auto start to run it.
Yes, I checked everything from Antivirus to bios settings. Removed it from auto start and it works fine.
2.Possible game changer- extremely bad location for right rear side button. Gamers sometimes go into a zone where they get aggressive in their mouse movements, I am constantly pressing that button no matter what grip configuration I use.
Other Thoughts: G.Skill did a fine job on this mouse overall and I will work through the side button issue.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM780 MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Blue Switches
Pros: A lot of time went into the physical design of this keyboard and G.Skill nailed it. This is one beautiful keyboard with a tremendous amount of features. Aesthetics and quality are seen throughout this physical device and I love typing with it. Keys are not absurdly loud, but what I would expect from this type of device.
Cons: This device would be a 5 egg device but one disappointing shortcoming..The software! Although it isn't intuitive I worked my way through it. The biggest problem was getting to even run on Windows 10 Pro. It just would not start under any circumstances. I researched it to no avail and spent about 3 hours looking bios/admin use/user rights/anti virus blockage-you name it, I looked at it. Finally, when I was about to give up.. I looked into the startup tab and decided to remove it from auto start and now it works fine. Software needs some attention but the keyboard itself is a polished device.
Other Thoughts: Love the keyboard and would definitely recommend it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Got this box to setup Untangle. Initial box setup was relatively easy. Slap in RAM and SSD and you're good to go. Took about 15 minutes. This box is small, so it's a little harder to work with, but very simple. Wrote Untangle image to USB drive and it booted straight to the install on the USB. Untangled installed easy and setup was fast. Box itself is nice looking, if not a finger print magnet. Easily handles the firewall application. Quiet-quick and small. Remember Lo Voltage RAM, be sure to check compatibility list. If your interest is a firewall box, the price/performance is awesome. Kudo's to Gigabyte for a solid build. After seeing the build quality and ease of setup, going to continue with Gigabyte for these types of units.
Cons: I can't think of any ATM.
Other Thoughts: Components used for build:
G.Skill 8GB-Model F3-1333C9S-----ADATA Premier SP550 120GB SSD----Vantec CB-U300GNA USB 3.0 to Gigabyte Ethernet (Need 2 NIC's for FW.)
If on Reboot you get No support for Input error, reboot to safe mode to finish setup. Then reboot again and connect through LAN for finish.
