WoW - Just WoW!

ASUS GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5

Pros: I have read many reviews about the GTX 580 cards and I know them to be beastly cards. This card delivers maximum cooling and performance. I was fortunate enough to pick up this card when it was on clearance (Open box item) and paid $305.00 plus $7.95 shipping. Not bad for a $500.00 card. I called ASUS to make sure I would have the full warranty and they assured me I would!!!! How awesome is that? BTW - Asus Customer service (so far) has been superb. When I called to ask questions about warranty, I was on hold less than 1 minute before speaking directly with a customer service agent! With 4 of the ASUS GTX 580's a group of guys crushed the 3dMark score (simply crushed it!). Pretty cool to know that the card that is in your system is the card (s) that were used to accomplish that great feat!!!

Cons: The only con that I have is that I have to buy special sata connectors that have a 90 degree angle on them, because the card is so massive!!!!! And, maybe that I didn't have this card sooner?

Overall Review: Newegg is simply the only place to buy video cards!!!!!!! WoW, just WoW!

Worked Great for a 1/2 a day...

XFX HD-597A-CNB9 Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition 2GB 512 (256 x 2)-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
XFX HD-597A-CNB9 Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition 2GB 512 (256 x 2)-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: This card is a beast. When it's running good, it's unbelievable. I was playing crysis full 1080P all high settings. 8xAA with an average frame rate of 55 FPS! You cant beat that. XFX Double Lifetime Warranty! XFX OVERVOLT application so you can truly overclock this beast

Cons: Card worked good for a few hours, then I got black lines across my screen and lots of flickers. I have a 950 watt power supply so no, it wasn't that. When I was playing in games I would also get artifacts. LOUDEST FAN EVER!!!!!! Man you crank up that fun and you can hear it on the other side of your house!!!!

Overall Review: This truly is a great buy. With the overvolt utility you can easily get the same clocks as a 5870 with a little increase of the voltages. The Fan is loud, but definatly will keep this card cool with an overclock. To bad I got a bad one...

Awesome Card!

XFX FX-797A-TNFC Radeon HD 7970 Core Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
XFX FX-797A-TNFC Radeon HD 7970 Core Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Great Card. Runs very stable - maxes out almost every single game @ 1920x1200 Price should be about $50.00 lower than a gtx 680 (saying this is the core edition). 2 year warranty is a pro because the warranty is transferable to anyone who ones this card within the original 2 years of launch... Dual bios switch is nice for those you want to flash the bios (without worrying about completely toasting your card - because the other bios switch can rectify a bad flash...). Comes with 3 awesome games

Cons: Price is still a little high XFX got rid of the DoubleLifetime warranty with the 7 series...

Overall Review: Even though the GTX 680 is out, this card is still a great piece of hardware. The card runs very cool and consumes a small amount of power. LOL - I bought this card on January 9th 2012 and I'm just leaving a review now

Asus GTX 670 Top Review

ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GTX670-DC2T-2GD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GTX670-DC2T-2GD5

Pros: Beast card for the price. This card is faster than a (stock) gtx 680 right out of the box! The temps on this card are amazing. My idle temps (with 2 monitors) never pass 31 degrees celcius. My load temps (full GPU load) have never passed 65 degrees celcius with fans running at 54 % Asus allows overclocking (software overclocking - Asus GPU Tweek, MSI afterburner, Evga Precision X), however don't flash your bios because could void your warranty. Asus Warranty is based off of serial number which covers anyone who would buy the card from you in the future (which helps with resale value)

Cons: My HDMI port doesnt seem to recognize one of my monitors (it is possible the cable wasn't plugged in all the way. The connector is very close to the edge of the card, so the cable has a hard time plugging in snuggly). However, I use both DVI's, both the regular DVI and the DVI-D ports and they run my monitors just fine. The card is heavy and the right side of the card hangs down a little bit. I had to rig up the card (which only took a few minutes) so it sits straighter in the case...

Overall Review: No matter what video card you purchase, you will never find one that is absolutely perfect. This one is pretty close. The best thing about this card is that it is a dual slot card, which will allow many users to run SLI (Vs the Asus Direct Cu II GTX 680 model which takes up 3 slots). I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that people who are having RSOD's are having problems because of Asus GPU Tweek. I myself use Evga Precision X and have had 0 issues. Also, I do not know how far this card Overclocks because the performance is already great. Once I have a game where I need to push the card to get the extra 6-10 FPS, I will OC then Overall - Great Card

Amazing cards!

MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti - 448 Cores (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N560GTX-Ti 448 Twin Frozr III PE/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti - 448 Cores (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N560GTX-Ti 448 Twin Frozr III PE/OC

Pros: First off I must say that I purchased these (2 - at separate times) cards when they were in stock at an open box price of $187.00 each! That alone is a pro... These cards run absolutely amazing and deliver in SLI performance that keeps up with the new Kepler gtx 680's! I have verified this by running 3d Mark 2011, and Heaven 3.0 benchmarks. These cards stay ridiculously cool. I have never seen the temps (with auto fan - even in SLI) surpass 65 degrees celcius. That is phenomenal. (I do have a Thermaltake Chaser case with awesome cooling. I'm sure this does help temps...)

Cons: None so far. See below

Overall Review: I have read people have issues with this card crashing and locking up after a few months... I sure hope my cards don't have these cards in the future... Right now, I can tell you I am very pleased with these cards and I would not hesitate to purchase them all over again Another plus for these cards is the brand - MSI warranties based off of the serial number, so if you ever sell the card(s) the new owner will have warranty (as long as its within the original 3 years of purchase).

Almost great...

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 015-P3-1480-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 015-P3-1480-KR

Pros: Great Fast video card You can't beat this price to performance ratio DX11 - Tesselation - all of the goodies! Only 15% slower than a gtx 580 (with overclocking you can get close to stock gtx 580 speeds!) 1.5 GB Vram

Cons: Runs hot like most people now Consumes a lot of power. If you want to SLI it, you will need a good 850 watt power supply or higher Biggest con: If you are using two monitors the cards wont downclock to 2d speeds. I have a coolermaster stacker 830 case (with 8 x 120 MM fans - excellent cooling), and at idle the card was at 72 * celcius. That is just to hot...

Overall Review: Great purchase for the price. Buyer beware - prices are dropping on pretty much all cards right now because Nvidia is releasing Kepler here within the next week or so...
