Worth it. UPDATE MARCH 28th 2016 (Read Below in Other)

Pros: So this is my first panel that goes above 60hz, im coming from a Asus 1920x1080 60hz and seen alot of ppl say u cant tell the difference...i saw huge difference on the hz alone let alone the resolution. Some games u could tell how bad they were graphicly, Arkham Orgins i thought looked good but not when compared to Arkham Knight lol.

Anyway, Pros so far are just how smooth this monitor makes games, I had been playing Rise of The Tomb Raider prior to this monitor and was easy to spot just how smooth this monitor makes games when frames dip, u can still tell the frames are lower but its just so smooth. The game this really shined in for me was GTA V, my jaw was dropped as i play this game quite often and i suffered from the random stutters on that game patch after patch. I see now it was because of monitor as that game now is just ugh...so smooth. Really cant describe it, has to be seen to understand really.

Also to note, obviously playing in 2k on games will makes gpu work harder and lower ur frames but alot of ppl dont realize when u go higher than 1k resolution, u rly dont need all that AA in games, i tested few games with it on and off and at the very least, the lowest setting is enough and bonus is u get some frames back if u use to use AA or max it out, not needed now so thats also a bonus as technically this monitor then in turn boosts ur FPS which is nice :p

And no dead pixels or anything wrong with monitor so far as i seem to see with alot of ppl on here, but will update this review if anything changes.
Cons: Now onto cons, and nothing game breaking, this is a just FYI so u know ahead of time on some things.

Firstly, my 980 classy wouldnt downclock while in 144hz mode, it has to be 120 or lower for gpu to downclock it seems which aint a biggy, i dont need 144hz on desktop lol. Its easly remedied though by setting monitor to 60hz and in nvidia to set it to use highest frames when a game is running and it will auto switch to 144hz when gaming.

Second, seen alot of ppl talk about how the colors aint as good as a IPS which they are correct to a degree but it comes close id say, def the best for a TN panel ive seen. Ppl said blacks were washed out and i did notice that and did urk me honestly. So did some googling as i still use my 2nd monitor and when dragging a picture back and forth, was easier to spot just how different. Anyway, this is also completly fixable i found as windows has a built in gamma changer ( dont use nvidias ) and it now looks just as good as my other monitor on colors. Colors are nice and crisp and richer id say so i was happy to fix that.

Last Con i can think of is price, while monitor is good and comes with alot of bells and whistles. It just seems price dont match performance, if it had 4k then id say was worth it possibly or the inclusion of the nvidia 3d kit as prior to purchase i honestly did not know i needed to spend another 100 bucks on hardware to even use the 3d function of monitor but meh.
Overall Review: I would def recommend this if u can afford it and would buy again and would like to buy another 1 honestly but i wont be till price comes down a bit hopefully as 4k takes over slowly but thats a ways off ^.~ UPDATE: So as of today, kinda getting frustrated with this monitor as i had this issue happen first day i had it but didnt think nothing of it. The issue is, say im watching a movie or a stream and i make no moves with mouse or input for bout an hour maybe, the screen decides to disconnect itself for some reason and then it shuffles my icons from my other monitor onto the asus one and messes up my object dock and it resets the gamma settings i have done for it through windows...so guess what..each time it does that i have to ( this where i would curse at ) redo all that again every ****** time and it gets very annoying as just now it did it twice back to back. If i didnt have to reset the gamma it wouldnt be so bad but since the colors looked washed out without the settings i just cant so i dont know if its actually a defect or what as i seen on google several people have had this issue. Wont lie...honestly thinking about getting a refund on this thing or exchanging it as its becoming a hassle.....
