2 out of 5 eggs Great company - bad product 11/15/2012

This review is from: Trident Aegis Blue Case for Samsung Galaxy S III AG-I9300-BL

Pros: Slim but very protective. Doesn't put a lot of bulk to the phone. Hard shell is a little slippery. Silicon lining has a lip around the edge of the screen that is several millimeters high. The screen won't touch the ground when dropped. It was a little tough to put on the phone, until I watched a great video on YouTube.

Cons: The silicon buttons make the phone buttons stick. Mainly the power buttons. I called Trident customer service and learned that they were aware of this issue. They are redesigning the case to fix the issue. They told me it would be about a month before I could get a replacement and recommended that I get a refund from NewEgg.

Other Thoughts: If the design flaw is fixed, I would love this case. As a previous owner of an Otterbox Defender, I would rank this case nearly, if not as protective, as the Otterbox, and at a better price. Because of the flaw, I can't give this case a high rating. But because of its potential as a good case, I can't give it a rock-bottom rating, either.
