EVGA 500 W1 100-W1-0500-KR 80+ WHITE 500W Power Supply

EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500- KR
EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500- KR

Pros: It's been running everyday for nearly 4 years. Price was cheap at the time I bought it. Single rail, Still works, never had any issues with it.

Cons: I guess that it is a 80+ white, not so efficient as some others. My fault, I didn't pay attention at the time because I was just looking for single rail, wattage, and lowest price of a brand I kind of trusted.

Overall Review: The computer it was in was always on, my kids played video games on it probably about 8 - 12 hours a day. The system has a AMD Phenom II Quad core OC'd to 3.8ghz, 970-A mobo, single 7200rpm hard drive, 660 GTX, and about 6 or 7 120mm LED case fans lol. Not a real high power demand and I think that's why it still works. I don't know if I'd trust it to run both of my old GTX 660's. If it was on sale real cheap and I needed a PSU, I would buy this again. I think I paid about 35 bucks on sale and got free shipping too. So at the time, for that price there was nothing else that compared IMO. I like doing a little research to find out who really makes the PSU units, the oem company. I usually only buy Sesasonic now or units made by Seasonic as the oem. Or I might buy something that's made by another good oem company if it's on sale real cheap. Or if there is a popular model with tons of good reviews and not many bad reviews I'll buy it as long as it's priced much lower than a top quality model I usually go for. I can't believe how many hours I've spent trying to find the best PSU for lowest price.

ASRock 960GC-GS FX AM3+/AM3/AM2+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock 960GC-GS FX AM3+/AM3/AM2+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It works, low price, good compatibility for older parts laying around.

Cons: Doesn't seem to like my new FX6300 six core AM3+ processor. Flashed bios to latest version, reinstalled Win7, installed latest mobo and video drivers and still cant get frame rates back to where they were.

Overall Review: The motherboard worked great when it had 89w Phenom II x2 555 callisto AM3. My processor upgrade turned into a downgrade lol. This mobo seems like a good choice for older parts like AM2 with DDR2 or AM3 with DDR2 / DDR3. Probably not a good choice for the new AM3+ processors. Spend an extra 10, 20 or 30 more bucks for a better board if your going to use the socket AM3+ FX processors.

Pros: It works, xmp profile loaded with no problems. Timings 16-18-18-38, 1.35V

Cons: None.

Overall Review: This is good memory IMO. I've always had good luck with this ram. I should of bought the 3200mhz CL14 kit for a few bucks more.

GIGABYTE B550 UD AC AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Motherboard

Pros: It works, I got the 1.2 version. No problems on first boot with ryzen5 4500. A lot of settings in the bios. No problems using 2 x 8 gigs - M*shkin R*dline St*lletto DDR4 3200mhz CL16 memory. Also seems to like the Mushk*n Tempest gen 3 x4 NVMe 1.4 M.2 (2280)

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is a really nice board IMO, I would buy it again without thinking twice about it.

Bgears 140mm blue LED case fan

Bgears b-ice 140mm 140mm Blue LED Case Fan
Bgears b-ice 140mm 140mm Blue LED Case Fan

Pros: They work good, move a lot of air and not too loud. They were on sale too.

Cons: None yet... LED's might stop working in the months to come.

Overall Review: I am glad I bought them.

AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3 GHz Desktop Processor

AMD FX-6100 - FX-Series Zambezi 6-Core 3.3 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6100WMGUSBX
AMD FX-6100 - FX-Series Zambezi 6-Core 3.3 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6100WMGUSBX

Pros: It works as it should, it didn't cost a lot, shipping was on time.

Cons: I didn't have to bend any pins thankfully... But the pins weren't perfect. I carefully took my time and it dropped right in the socket. So it wasn't really a con.

Overall Review: I am happy with the item. It really perked up an old 4-core (AMD FX 4130) computer. I was surprised that it made as much of a difference as it did.
