Most Favorable Review

It's been five years

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Edition, ZT-P10700C-10P, 8GB GDDR5 IceStorm Cooling, Metal Wraparound Carbon ExoArmor exterior, Ultra-wide 100mm Fans, Spectra Lighting, PowerBoost, FREEZE fan stop

Pros: Still working Still runs almost everything

Cons: None

Overall Review: I purchased everything for my PC based on a few factors: price:performance ratio, performance:wattage (and through lower wattage I also get reduced heat and with reduced heat comes reduced noise) ratio, and durability. This card has not let me down in any way, shape, or form. I have used it for an average of several hours per day for five years running 2k resolution and it still rocks as though it were brand new.

Most Critical Review
Dell U2413 Black 24" Widescreen LED Backlight LCD IPS Monitor, 1920 x 1200, 1000:1, 350cd/m2, HDMI&DVI&USB Display Port, Height, Pivot, Swivel, Tilt

Pros: Very good picture and nice stand

Cons: I had two, one had problems when using displayport and the other had problems on DVI. not good QC by Dell on these

Defective fan

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 8GB WINDFORCE OC, GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD R2
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 8GB WINDFORCE OC, GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD R2

Pros: Closest price to the 379 we were all lied to about for months and months

Cons: The fan nearest the video connectors would make a rhythmic grunting noise about every seconds. Even inside my case with sound damping I could hear it going rrrguh... rrrguh.... Plus, a noise in a fan makes me uneasy about how long that fan will last, and a failed fan on a heat-generating component is not what you want for peace of mind.

Overall Review: The card itself may have been fine but a GPU with a faulty cooler is a faulty GPU in my book. I returned it and was not able to get a replacement as they were out of stock. I was able to talk with Newegg and get my promo code savings back to try another product, so thank you Newegg.

Excellent bulbs so far

Thinklux TKUA19S02-8.2W-830 60 Watts Equivalent LED Light Bulb
Thinklux TKUA19S02-8.2W-830 60 Watts Equivalent LED Light Bulb

Pros: Color is good Brightness is good Turn on fairly quickly, maybe one quarter second hesitation or less Supposedly have long life Inexpensive

Cons: None so far other than I can't find them anywhere but Newegg so if they stop carrying this bulb, I'm hose.

Overall Review: Absolutely would recommend. I've had these for about a month and they're great. Ordering more now. If they end up breaking in less than two years I'll be upset but if they last the advertised lifespan I'll be thrilled to pieces.

Dell 23" 60 Hz IPS HD LCD Monitor IPS 8ms (gray to gray) D-Sub, DVI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0 P2314H
Dell 23" 60 Hz IPS HD LCD Monitor IPS 8ms (gray to gray) D-Sub, DVI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0 P2314H

Pros: Low cost Lot of adjustments on the stand

Cons: Had two of these at work and each one had intermittent white flickering horizontal lines. Changed over to a different model and have had no trouble since. Also, when changing to the new model, we were all blown away at the difference in color! The more expensive Dell model that I now have has such intense and vibrant color compared to the P2314h.

Overall Review: Bottom line: the image quality isn't as good as other monitors and the two that I had were defective. If price is your number one, maybe this is fine. For me, I'll get something else.

Excellent

HP Envy 4500 ISO speeds: Up to 6 ppm Black Print Speed 4800 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality WiFi 802.11n HP Thermal Inkjet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Pros: Setup worked without a hitch Lots of features you didn't know you were getting Solid build (so far) NO touchscreen (buttons ftw) Multiple ways to connect Auto-discovers from Android devices on the same wireless network

Cons: I've not found any yet

Overall Review: This is the only printer I've ever actually felt like it was a quality device. The last several printers I've had from various brands were all just throw-away devices it seemed. This machine gives the impression that some engineers did some good planning and achieved something pretty nice.
