Pros: It looks pretty, runs quiet, and is a million times faster than my previous computer, a netbook which was on the verge of a hard drive failure. It's nice to have a big screen again.

Cons: As other reviewers have noted, the keyboard is very sticky, and you will make about one typo per sentence, minimum, if you don't really hit the keys hard. The touchpad, on the other hand, is oversensitive and frequently gets confused about whether you are right- or left-clicking. Of the two USB ports, one is already broken, and I've owned the computer only three months. It runs very hot (I've gotten up to 85C internal temp with SpeedFan; average seems to be the low 60s). Programs crash abruptly and apparently at random; the graphics card has issues; and three times (at least) the computer has shut off by itself without warning, once while asleep; none of the shut-offs appear heat related. Naturally, none of these problems (beyond the sticky keys/oversensitive mouse) appeared until after the 30-day return period finished.

Overall Review: I don't know if I just got a bad egg (if you pardon the pun), but beyond the annoyance of the mouse and keyboard, the other issues have made this computer in need of replacement already - after only three months. I've owned a lot of computers in my time. I don't put extreme demands on them. Yet the little I do with this computer seems to be too much for it. This easily is the worst computer I have ever owned. If you're considering this one and another, get the other one.
