Overall Review: I bought this phone because, quite frankly, my Blackberry's scroll wheel was no longer functioning properly and I simply could not afford another BB. Nor most of the phones on the market right now. I'm primarily a text message user so I was looking for something with a reliable keyboard. If you don't need anything fancy and don't use the internet through your phone, this is an excellent phone. Especially for the price tag! Not to mention, if you have children who are getting to the age where you'd like to give them a phone of their own, this is definitely a very good choice. It's sturdy enough to stand up to a fair bit, it does both music and radio and even video if you buy a micro SD card for it. It's great for texting and even talking but it's internet capabilities are very limited so you don't have to worry about them running your data bill sky high. For a phone that was originally bought as simply a go-between while I saved up for a more expensive one? I am absolutely impressed and very, very pleased. In fact, this phone does the things I want so well I'm not even worried about replacing it at this point! I'm particularly impressed with the battery life! I only have to plug it in every three to four days and, as I've said, I'm a pretty heavy text user. I don't know about talk times, as I don't use it for voice often, but if all you need is text and music? Highly recommend it! It even has a slot for phone charms at the bottom, which was a wonderful surprise for me as I thought I'd have to give mine up when my BB died. Unfortunately it does not allow you to do custom ringtones for messages. You can only choose from the three built in ones. Neither can you send picture texts, despite the phone having a camera in it. The camera is very low quality as well but for as little as you pay for this phone, that it has a camera at all is surprising. It also has a very small storage space for text messages. Mine seems to fill up at about 80 texts and requires you to delete them. If there is a way to make it use the microSD card for text storage I haven't found it yet. It's a small annoyance, though, as the phone has a 'Delete All' function for each message box (in/sent/draft). Basically, if you're like me and just needed a reliable phone for texting and occasional voice or if you have kids and want something affordable but reliable and that you wouldn't feel too bad if they lost? This is definitely the way to go! I know I'll be getting one for my son in the near future!
