So far so good
Pros: Great speed, Easy physical install, does what it says
Cons: Notebook upgrade kit is kind of a joke (unless this is the norm)
Overall Review: It's fast and all of the positive reviews are on the mark. I'm actually using it in an Asus G73jh, so it's a SATA 2 connection. Nonetheless, it's a great improvement over normal HDD. I would suggest anyone on the fence to get it. I took some points off forums for installing this on Win7 64. I had to play with which bay it belonged in and go through some settings tweaking that's more than when installing a normal HDD, but that is to be expected. For those teetering between 64GB and this 128GB, here's my setup: - Win7 64bit - Office 2010 64 bit - Adobe CS5 Master Collection With just that and some very small random files, I'm at 64GB used already. I wouldn't have been able to do it on a lesser than 128GB and feel comfortable. This is a work laptop and will likely not have anything else in it on the OS drive. But I have 55GB free now and it's nice to have breathing room. *A note on the upgrade kit. The kit is a plastic square that acts to lift the drive. I thought it would come with a metal housing or something. But this may be wishful thinking, especially since laptops may not standardize their HDD bays. But that's not Samsung's fault. I saw on Youtube someone use earplugs to cushion the drive so it's stable in the bay. I'd be more comfortable with a metal bracket tho.
