ASUS VG Series VG278H Black 27" 2ms HDMI Swivel & Height Adjustable Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D 120Hz Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1 w/ 3D glasses and speakers
ASUS VG Series VG278H Black 27" 2ms HDMI Swivel & Height Adjustable Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D 120Hz Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1 w/ 3D glasses and speakers

Pros: Excellent 2D as well as 3D performance, convenient built in receiver for glasses, glasses included in purchase price, height ajustable, killer response time for a monitor this size. The monitor has a stunning array of color depth and takes advantage of Nvidias truebright2 technology to make stereoscopic gaming more pleasant even when the lights are on. The menu is contextual depending on whether or not you're in 3D or 2D mode and allows independent adjustments to enhance the picture for what you're doing at that time. This comes in very handy if you watch 3D movies and are not using it for gaming exclusively. One switch of a button and the image is adjusted for movies, hit it again and we're back to gaming preferences.

Cons: Menu buttons are somewhat unresponsive and illogically alligned, switching between 3d and 2d takes a good few seconds as the refresh rate is adjusted. Nothing major to gripe about and certainly no dealbreakers, just thought I'd mention them so potential buyers are not surprised. The price would be the only other con, however you get what you pay for and in this case I am quite happy about the investment.

Overall Review: I would like to see stereoscopic (120Hz) screens going up in resolution as 1080p is really not that impressive for a monitor this size and cost.

Pretty swell

ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ZT-50202-10P
ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ZT-50202-10P

Pros: The card runs stable, has ample power and is a great value for high end gamers that don't want to spend the extra cash to increase their Epean.

Cons: The darn thing is HUGE and you can forget sticking it into anything less then a full size tower...even there you may have to jumble around where your HDs are in some cases to make room.

Overall Review: The brand name has a lot of credibility in my book.

Never showed up

After waiting a month and jumping through countless Newegg hoops, I've decided that three shipping issues from Newegg in one month and having to wait and deal with vendors directly has completely convinced me to discontinue shopping at Newegg for good. It's been a nice 10 years and I don't regret the thousands of dollars I spent here while Newegg still provided great customer service but after too many recent negative experiences, I've had enough.

Item lost in shipping and seller ignored me

The item never arrived at my home, newegg began assisting me in contacting the seller and the seller promptly ignored any attempts at communication. To this day, I still have not received my item or a refund.
