Good keyboard
Pros: Not a bad keyboard for the price. Takes up less space than my IBM "clicker". Much better action than a Belkin membrane keyboard I have.
Cons: I got two silver "A" keys instead of an "A" and a "S". Box appears to have been opened and the extra "A" key was laying lose in the bottom. I took one egg away because of this.
Overall Review: Can't go wrong for price.
Doesn't work in ECS MCP61-M3 V7.1
Pros: Going to keep it for my next motherboard.
Cons: It's listed as working in the ECS MCP61M-M3 V7.1 in Newegg's memory finder tool but the motherboard won't even post even after first setting the bios memory speed to manual/1330 with the old memory. (Bios insist on reseting memory to 1600 and then conking out.)
Overall Review: I can't rate it because I can't get it to work I have 4gig of Pareema 1300 in the motherboard which works just fine.
Overheats
Pros: Works well until it gets too hot.
Cons: It overheats. I took mine apart and drilled vent holes in the plastic case like the netgear wireless n adapters have. You cannot have both Netgear wireless g and n adapter software installed on the same computer, because the wireless g adapter will no longer work. (Win XP)
Cata
Pros: It's WoW! After a rocky start Cata is getting better and deserves another chance.
Cons: New Development team is very inexperienced and it shows. If the developers act like "elitist jerks*" then the players will act like "elitist jerks." If the developers act like mature adults, then the players will act like mature adults, (more or less). (As you lead, they follow.) The game needs leaders who will unite, not divide the community. There are signs that the developers are starting to catch on.
Overall Review: *I used the term "elitist jerks" but an older term for a body opening comes more often to mind.
Is your new cpu overheating?
Pros: If you just bought an Athlon 64 X2 cpu and it is running too hot, you need to check the cpu voltage in the bios. Make sure it isn't too high. This 65w x2 5600 cpu's voltage needs to be 1.3-1.35v. Many older motherboards are setting the voltage to 1.45v or more, causing the cpu to overheat. I had the same problem with the Athlon 64 X2 6000 3100mhz that I bought from Newegg. After changing the voltage to 1.35, my overheating problem went away.
Cons: See above!
Overall Review: See above!
Pros: I needed a single slot card to replace the GF 9500PRO in my Biostar IDEQ 330P small form factor with 300w power supply. I can now run UT3 at 1280x1024 with settings on high. With my 9500PRO I had to turn settings down to medium/low. Image quality is much improved. I'm now cpu limited. (Athlon 64 3800 single core).
Cons: Those with heavier power supplies can find faster cards for less. Price needs to come down to the $80 range. Those manufactures who are sticking two slot heatsinks on these cards are missing the boat! (And sales). I removed one egg because of high price.
Overall Review: The Nividia 185.18.136 Linux driver will work but card is miss-listed as GT 230 and clock is throttled down to 405mhz gpu, 324mhz memory. Still, I can run Google earth with 3D acceleration and play Open Arena.
