Your VGA port must support digital in order for this cable to work.

Pros: Read the product description carefully. At the bottom it says "NOTE: Your VGA must support digital output." Most VGA ports do not support digital. Most likely you would need a custom spec or high end graphics card for the VGA to support digital.
