Great HD Monitor
Pros: Large screen - I am going down a step from my 32inch HDTV I was using but really a TV is not ideal for gaming or doing anything where you have to read text ha ha. This monitor is great and it was packaged well. I got this for 50% off so that is what really sold me but I could see paying close to full price for this monitor.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Looks sharp and it does tilt well but I would like it if it could extend as I am 6'5" and it's not all that tall.
great price?
Pros: 650 watt @ this price w/ rebate. Happen to get this psu in before the case but it looks great! Its what I wanted so far but I can't try it out as I have not got the case which is by the same brand. Rebate! Came super fast as I hear newegg always does. Literally next day from order being made in the morning till the next night delivery.
Cons: Got here before the case did. T_T Not sure how the rebate is going to work since after reading it I guess i must include my original invoice with rebate slip. That wouldn't be a problem if the other item did not also come with a rebate! 20$ a piece made these items good for me. I am not sure if they will let me get both rebates now and its frustrating because the rebates for all my parts were going to pay for my second graphics card for my crossfire setup. "waiting on that cus money is low and don't need right away". But if i don't get the rebates then both the case and this psu really are not worth it to be I am thinking of avoiding any items with rebates just for this reason from now on. stress - one egg.
Overall Review: Just hope I can send both together there seem to be a lot of exceptions and such to the rebates i wonder if that is how it always is most times i don't usually bother but for a combined total of 40$ i simply can not afford to not try. Maybe someone out there knows how to redeem both rebates? as a side note i would like to add that I currently don't have a printer is there a way to do this without printing it? didn't think so will have my g/f print probably in any case not a big deal but the 40$ is! I like this brand so far and if the rebates come through i will be sure to post results with the case review i will post later thanks.
Awesome, Fast, Cheap!
Pros: This is a 4GB card for way less than other cards of similar quality and I have always had amazing luck with XFX. My old XFX card still is running after 8 years but it was time for me to upgrade my MoBo, CPU and Ram so I figured I would do the GPU as well as I was starting to have trouble with games on Ultra settings. This card really stays cool in an open breezy case like the Antec 1200 but honestly I have yet to even hear the fans on it. The card scores 7.9 out of 7.9 in windows test. It only takes one 6pin connector!
Cons: Not really a con but something to be aware of - This is a large card, it actually fit in my mid size ATX case with like 2 inches to spare but I would not put it in anything smaller. In my new Antec 1200 case 3+ inches of room before the drive bay comes into play and honestly it lines up it could go into the bay area if needed.
Overall Review: Hope to set this up in crossfire mode with another one when they come back in stock(since it only takes 1x 6pin and my mobo can do 2x slots at x16 speed its ideal). Would have bought a second one the day after I installed this beast had it still been in stock. Not because I need the power but because I am an enthusiast. Just like I don't need 32GB of RAM but I like having more memory in my desktop than the servers I work on.
Easy upgrade!
Pros: Really fast, and easy to use software to clone the drive comes with it! I was able to clone (and using advanced menu pick and choose what games I still use etc.) and leave out all my old college folders and my storage partition. Best thing is that I get to easily keep my old win7 key without hassle and if I want to try windows 10 I can always clone over top. The best thing is that since this is my first personal SSD I get the added bonus of having a full image backup that is boot-able on my old HDD.
Cons: 3.5inch bracket was not great and would prefer a full size bracket with the drive centered but I can see that would increase the shipping size a lot and weight plus you can always just buy another bracket.
Overall Review: Got this for really cheap but I think I would have paid close to full price for the quality. Wish I had bought 2 for raid configuration but it's plenty fast with my new MoBo and gets a 7.2 out of 7.9 on my windows rating if you pay attention to those things. I had a fast boot time before but I think it might have took a few seconds off and when you load into profile it seems like its just ready to go. Please note I have done a few other upgrades along side of this so performance may be coming a bit from elsewhere.
Attractive Fast and Cheap
Pros: Very attractive tho they are rather small compared to my other hardware in my case so they don't really stand out. They deffinately get the job done and were recognized on my first boot up in my AMD build. Didn't bother to check what it was running at under the auto settings of my Asus mobo went right on ahead and changed to 1600mhz ect. one I had my OS win7 installed and made sure everything was working properly. FAST! This ram is also a lot cheaper then other modules I was looking at that had the same specs. I will be sticking with Gskill from now on as I was very pleased with this order they are my new #1 pick for ram.
Cons: Idk if its the new mobo or the ram but it was a little bit harder to push these into the slots then I felt it should have been. I dont like it when I feel as if something is going to snap.
Overall Review: Never got an item that was DOA or late from newegg. Always get the item earlier then expected except now I do expect to see them the next day ha ha. In fact that has happened twice now this was ordered with about 5 other items a rather large order in my book anyways and came two days after purchase which I did at night. Love the ram and am going to order another 2x2gigs of this when I get the chance. Got the money now but kinda sitting on it since i Just got a blue ray drive and some case accessories ect. and those should be here monday. I only use 25% of the ram on idol "win7" and max of 35-45% running several applications including wow at full resolution and all graphics set to High. Love this ram so much I will deff be sticking with Gskill for my ram needs!
Top of the line!
Pros: Amazing graphics, easy to install, worked with the drivers off the disk just fine. Works great with windows 7. Came with a converter for d-sub to dvi which was great cus my monitor came with a dsub cord instead of a dvi which i thought it was suppose to so that gave me a chance to use it while waiting for the dvi cable i just ordered.. wont be waiting long i got it off newegg. This card is just amazing!
Cons: Did not have a crossfire bridge T_T Want to order another one in the near future not that I will ever need that much power or Vram but I simply want it just in case they sell out or stop producing this model. Rather large... also takes up two slots, it covers one of my PCIE slots.
Overall Review: Does everything you could imagine! You can even run three monitors as one display meaning that you can stretch the screen across all three monitors! How kewl is that? Lots and lots of features but it also worked right out of the box. The installation of the drivers took seconds in my beastly build... I imagine they would in any ha ha. Works with win7. my build- amd 3.2ghz phenom x4 (3.6 when o/c) 2x2 gigs ddr3 ram 1600mhz western digital 7200 rpm HD 1gig Gddr5 5770
