Pros: This SSD is very fast, and boasts a high capacity. Perfect match for my needs in a good boot drive. I definitely recommend this drive!
Cons: None at this timeREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Lots of I/O
Cons: Stability and reliability SUCKS.
Other Thoughts: I received my "repaired" motherboard today from Asus' repair center, and spent most of today installing it into my chassis and getting things working again after being without it for about a month. It worked fine for about one hour, and the SAME ISSUE HAS RETURNED. I am getting a consistent "Overclock Error" at boot and I AM NOT OVERCLOCKING.
This has been an extremely disappointing experience, as Asus had such a good reputation. My experience has been quite the opposite. I am requesting a NEW PRODUCTION MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT. I'm tired of being without my PC due to an issue that Asus cannot seem to address. I only wish I could get a refund for such a lousy product.
Pros: Out of the box, this board took less than 5 minutes to install into my chassis. Board is well organized, and has sufficient SATA-III ports for my needs.
Cons: None as of yet.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace an Asus Rampage V Extreme that I bought in late-November 2014. The Asus board became flaky and eventually died Sunday. I'm going back and forth with them now as they work through their process, but I am likely going to have to write it off as a loss. Bottom line is that the board died on me.
I like the ASRock board, although it has only been about 5 hours since I powered it on. Seems plenty quick and stable.
