Pros: Pretty

Cons: Won't post in Asus sabretooth z87 or gigabyte g1 z87 sniper. Have it in a backup pc running at 1333 mhz. Manual timings/cas etc etc multiple motherboards cpu's psu's gpu's cases...won't run at stock. As posted will not even POST in the two listted boards even with Asus mem okay I can't reach bios. I bought 4 kits two rg and two bo. The BO are running fine the rg has given me nothing but grief..

Other Thoughts: I got these for the bling factor they are on the qvl for the sniper board and 1600 1.5v shouldn't be a problem for the Sabre. Having to use these on an M-Atx off brand board under rated timings was a horrid waste of both my time and my money

Pros: Price. Blows comparably priced 270's away. I play SWTOR max'd on a 65" Sony and a 24 inch LG(second monitor same card). Smooth as silk even in heavy ops environment. Metal back plate keeps the card from bowing overtime.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Read all about coil whine I can't hear it I use a Lian Li case(aluminum thinner material) with 3 140 mm fans and a 120 fan.

1 out of 5 eggs The Gigabyte Saga...Continues 06/02/2014

This review is from: GIGABYTE G1.Sniper Z87 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: None

Cons: rma'd twice to gigabyte first time was told everything from we can't find any problems to we replaced the bios chip. Got it back after 4 wks same problem. Was told to rma again. I did. JUST got it back(literally opened box in last five minutes. I did not receive a replacement nor it seems did I get my board back. The board I just received has a standoff and screw in the upper left screw hole (brass) my standoffs are chromed....this is A. not my board. and B. Not a new board. I was told by gigabyte customer service via Newegg that I would receive a replacement. Granted they didn't say it would be new so technically they didn't lie.

Other Thoughts: 4 months and this Mobo has seen exactly ten days of glitch wrought use. A higher end gaming motherboard? Hardly. Any way you look at this I'm out my of the purchase price. When tech support doesn't know how to remove a standoff and screw. You know you're in trouble. Buy ANY other brand but plz don't subject yourself to the experience I've had.
