So far so good!

Western Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: 4 of these in a raid 6 maxin out my sata3 raid card (the adaptec 6805) @ a full 300 MB/s on synthetic bencarks, see about 225 MB/s real life sceenarios average, and these things work as well as i would ask from a mechanical drive (quiet etc)

Cons: None

disapointed

Adaptec RAID 6805 2270100-R 6Gb/s SATA / SAS 8 internal ports w/ 512MB cache memory Controller Card, Single
Adaptec RAID 6805 2270100-R 6Gb/s SATA / SAS 8 internal ports w/ 512MB cache memory Controller Card, Single

Pros: card works well enough when it works, operationaly this card does it's job, what more can you ask for?

Cons: card worked fine for a year, then in under a month i lost 4 drives causeing me to lose my raid 5 array TWICE! it could have been the WD blacks, but 3 of those drives died during a rebuild, and i can't be confident of what it is. ALSO i tried attaching 2 SSD's to this thing, to run my OS on a hardware raid-0, INSTANT crashes, wouldn't even get as far as an install screen... got past the bios and that was IT!

Overall Review: i'd might not feel to bad about recommending this raid card to someone, IF it was a LOT cheaper, like $150ish range i'd say it's probably just bad luck on my part and worth the investment. HOWEVER i found on my behalf i could not trust my data to it at all and didn't have the patience (or budget) to keep throwing drives at it hoping it would start working correctly. and after spending $600 on a raid adapter, BBU, and almost $600 more on drives, i'm just completely over it.

CoolIT SYSTEMS ECO-R120 Advanced Liquid Cooling (ALC)
CoolIT SYSTEMS ECO-R120 Advanced Liquid Cooling (ALC)

Pros: Worked perfectly under 24/7 load...

Cons: ...for 4 years.

Overall Review: I'm not knocking an egg because it died after 4 years, components just never die when it's convenient, quite aggrivated, but the part gave me what I paid for and probly then some.

Works as expected

SIIG Model CB-S20011-S1 2.46 ft. (75cm) Internal mini-SAS SFF-8087 to 4 x SATA Fanout Cable
SIIG Model CB-S20011-S1 2.46 ft. (75cm) Internal mini-SAS SFF-8087 to 4 x SATA Fanout Cable

Pros: Works as expected

Cons: Extra connector? See other thoughts.

Overall Review: There is a usb motherboard style connector on the cable. I have NOT A CLUE what this connector is for, the cable works perfectly with this connector attached to nothing, i just have it tucked away in my case... Comes with no documentation, which is fine, but im REALLY curious why this usb connector is on the cable at all... Is it for software monitoring? Is it for boost speed performance? Is it to make me look lime a raving lunitic or moron? I havnt a clue! But the cable DOES work as expected in boot up utility and windows 7 x64 (havnt tried anything else) and i do get full sata3 speeds from it (300 MB/s synthetic benchmarks, about 225 MB/s real life sceenarios) on my adaptec 6805

ASUS VE248H 24" Full HD 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI, HDMI Built-in Speakers Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free LED Backlight Monitor
ASUS VE248H 24" Full HD 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI, HDMI Built-in Speakers Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free LED Backlight Monitor

Pros: Ordered 3 of these 11 months ago when i built my gaming rig. I was nervous to order monitors online (even from newegg) due reading all the nightmares about dead pixels from any variety of retail companies products, and ordering 3 of them... i was triple nervous! Opened the boxes and 11 months later i couldn't be happier. Powered by a ATI 5870 card, i have an eyegasm just about every day i use my computer!

Cons: they didn't come w/ a Ergotron triple base stand? =D that woulda been pretty awesome too!

Overall Review: running games @ 5760x1080 (Eyefinity) and forgetting what reality is. couldn't be happier!

don't even try this in a small case!

GIGABYTE GH-PDU22-SC EVR Sleeve CPU Cooler
GIGABYTE GH-PDU22-SC EVR Sleeve CPU Cooler

Pros: one of these and a dab of artic silver 5.... the pros speak for themselves when u can run it 24/7 with out it EVER reaching room temperature ;)

Cons: don't even THINK of useing this cooler with anything less than a "too darnn big" case... and i mean full ATX... or maybe one of those "mid-atx" that everyone knows is better than mid lol that's what i got, and this thing BARELY fits in there... BARELY

Overall Review: instructions may as well have been written in japanese.... make sure u know what your doing before you buy this! (no people, it's NOT hard to install... just take your time if your new to it)
