Cooler Master NotePal U2 PLUS - Laptop Cooling Pad with Two Configurable High Performance Fans - Black

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Serves its purpose. Just big enough for my 17" laptop. Fans can be moved around very easily on the bottom. good rubber feet for traction and is just a simple setup that makes sense.

Cons: the fans inside the mountings will wobble and get really noisy from time to time. tapping them or giving them a little hit will usually fix the problem. I can see how this could be annoying, but if i really cared replacing the fans would be very simple. The thing about this being good for moving your computer around in is bogus (i guess they're suggesting placing the closed computer on the underside with the feet hugging) - the fans would have to be removed (not difficult actually) for this to work. the usb pass through is kinda bulky but people saying it should be more than a 1-1 usb pass-through are being port snobs.

Other Thoughts: i did feel a little ridiculous buying it for 30$ since it's really basic - just some perforated metal, rubber and some mediocre fans. but it does serve it's purpose and i'm happy i got it for my gaming laptop that runs much to hot otherwise.
