This review is from: Kingston HyperX Resident Evil-Revelations PC Games
Pros: It was free and easy to use. No complaints.
Cons: Non.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I don't know where to start. The processor, the hard drive, the video card, the screen, and the memory are all amazing. I spent a lot of time looking for the best laptop and this is hands down the greatest one around for the price. The hard drive even runs at 7200 rpm which is uncommon for any laptop. I haven't had my laptop for very long but so far I have had no problems. The two year warrenty and no dead pixel promise along with a two year warrenty make getting an asus notebook even better.
Cons: *I guess it is a little heavy and kind of big but what do you expect with everything that is in it.
*It smudges easy but I wouldn't say that is a con because it looks great with or without smudges.
*Some people had Blue-ray problems but mine worked just fine. You do have to install the program and probably update it though. The install is very fast and so was the update.
Other Thoughts: What else is there to say...
*Vista is already installed you just have to add your username and some other information.
*The bloatware is stupid but only a minor inconvenience.
*The keys are a little different than a normal laptop keyboard but I like the change in style.
*I guess I would say the mouse is kind of cheap but it is free so there really isn't anything to complain about.
*I almost forgot for anyone planning on gaming with this, it can run any game but not at max settings. So far I have tried Left for Dead (full aa) which runs maxed out with no lag and Crysis Warhead which runs at medium settings with no aa perfectly.
This review is from: MSI Tuner Card TV@nywhere Plus PCI Interface
Pros: The TV tuner works about as well as I expected it would. I am at my computer a lot so being able to watch TV with a remote control at my computer is very convenient. The install was fast and simple. Adjusting the size of the screen is as easy as adjusting any window. I currently run vista 64 and haven't had any compatibility issues.
Cons: The picture quality is not great. I imagine it is mostly because of the cable I have but when I play my xbox 360 through the TV tuner the picture is not much better. the only other problem I have is with the antenna for the remote. It is only about three feet (not even long enough to go from the back of my computer to my monitor) and the double sided sticky foam that came with it doesn't even hold up the antenna receiver that is very light and about as big around as my finger.
Other Thoughts: Overall it is a very good deal for about 40 dollars (with shipping). I think anyone looking for a cheap way to watch and record shows should buy TV@nywhere.
*I only used the radio once but as far as I know it works fine.
