HORRIBLE-keeps dropping connection
Pros: Easy to setup. This is literally plug and play. You plug two units into an electric outlet; one near the router and one near your computer/laptop. Then connect a network cable from one unit to router; connect the other unit to your computer. Up and running in under a minute.
Cons: Worked great for a few months. I have a small house and all units are on the same circuit. House is not that old, built in the late 70's. All of sudden, last few weeks all the units (I have 3) have been randomly dropping connections. All units are plugged directly to wall (per directions). I can't get a constant connection for more than 5 minutes. While great for random web surfing, family does movie streaming and games. This makes those experiences horrible.
Overall Review: If I could maintain a constant connection, I would give it 5 stars. It's too bad this doesn't work very long... no wonder it was on sale on Newegg, shoulda known better. :/
Worst NAS ever
Pros: cheap
Cons: Slow as molasses. Louder than a semi truck. browsing for files is painful when it takes 5 minute just to load a list of 3 files.
Overall Review: don't buy it.
