Doesn't work as expected
Pros: Easiest way of add another screen to any PC/Mac, but if you have a powered USB hub, the experience could be better when other USB devices are present. Not a workforce. Only works as expected if the contents are near of to be static.
Cons: We bought several. Got DOAs. Seems to be easy to install, but in our case, on Win7 x64 plenty of resources, we had a lot of problems: not recognized, black screen, scrambled information, can't do drag and drops of windows between screens, several reboots, forced refresh, lags, etc. Only works as expected if the contents are static texts.
Overall Review: Seems to be designed for a discrete performance: static contents preferably. If is going to be used for video or movements/transitions between screens, better look for other options.
A prototype that needs lots of improvements
Pros: This is a very solid, cool-looking enclosure, but nothing more
Cons: When it works, the hardware RAID change mode does NOT function at all. The doc is not so clear in the procedure of to accomplish that. The software doesn't help either. It was not possible to use this enclosure as a port multiplier unit. This is a very important feature for us. We think it is still a prototype. Why then to buy a converter (not cheap) if its features are not so well tested?.
Overall Review: We have mixed our ideas with other we saw in other websites.
