Pros: The price is cheap

Cons: 1. Computer is very low quality. The new ASUS computer we bought died within two weeks.
2. Repair service is slow and bad. We shipped our soon-died ASUS computer back to the repair center on Oct. 5, 2012. one week later when I call for status, they told me it was shipped to a "wrong" repair center since the ASUS representitive give me the wrong insturction so it end up in their wrong repair center. It then takes two weeks for ASUS to re-ship my computer from their wrong repair center to the "correct" repair center. And after that, it's waiting on parts. So, I bought a new ASUS computer used for less than two weeks; and now wait for ASUS company to repair it. It has been out of my hand for more than a month, and still ASUS support guy can't give me any estimation for when the repair can be done. They told me the repair on my PC is longer than their "non-guaranted" 10 to 14 business days of repair time; but they can't do anything about it and the customer can only wait for it. So ASUS offers no compensation for the loss of use; no plan to speed up the repair or shipping back time; and even no estimate of the time of the arrival of parts. Basically, their repair service is very bad. And even worse: they told me there is no other number I can call to discuss the issue. So they told me: wait. -- Last time I saw my new PC is 9/27/12, and today is 11/1/12, the repair center still waiting on parts and no status ETA.

Other Thoughts: I won't buy anything from ASUS any more
