Emperor Approved!

Star Wars ANH Stormtrooper PCR Helmet
Star Wars ANH Stormtrooper PCR Helmet

Pros: I am able to hit a Jawa sandcrawler accurately with my laser rifle behind the front drive wheel because with this helmet, I am that accurate.

Cons: Unfortunately, I still can't find the droids I am looking for with this...The Empire uses Microsoft operating systems on the onboard visors on these helmets and all I get is a blue screen.

I like the case but it has it's quirks

Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Love the Army green look. the case is a solid build. Cable management is excellent.

Cons: Power button is tricky. Sometimes when you press to turn PC on it sticks and turns it back off. Have to lightly press. Reset button has no feedback.

Piece of garbage

SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 2.5" 250GB SATA III V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-76E250B/AM
SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 2.5" 250GB SATA III V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-76E250B/AM

Pros: Fast

Cons: It is fast but unreliable. Don't use this as a boot SSD - you will regret it - may boot a few times until it gives you an unbootable error - especially if the computer powers off unexpectedly - this thing will die. Totally unreliable.

Overall Review: Get a regular hard drive. Might be slower but won't behave this way.

ASUS G751JL

ASUS ROG - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-4720HQ - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M - 16GB Memory - - Windows 8.1 64-Bit ()
ASUS ROG - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-4720HQ - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M - 16GB Memory - - Windows 8.1 64-Bit ()

Pros: Laptop is very well constructed and is pretty fast. Wireless network is very quick so if you have an AC router, this will sing like a songbird.

Cons: Windows 8.1. No official support for Windows 7 and in my opinion there is no excuse for dropping Windows 7 support as it is pretty common knowledge that Windows 8.1 is not a very favorable operating system. I was able to downgrade mine to Windows 7 but it was a major pain in the rump as I had to search the Google to find out which drivers worked. I may try Windows 10 when I figure out if the applications I need will run on it.

Overall Review: Overall, this is a good laptop and if you don't mind Windows 8.1 or 10, then definitely recommended... If you know what you are doing tech-wise, you can get Windows 7 to run on it but be prepared for some research - most Windows 8.1 drivers on ASUS support for this will work with Windows 7 - except the Wired LAN, USB Controller, and the Intel Rapid Storage Driver.

Buyer Beware

D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g
D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g

Pros: The router performs good when it is up and running.

Cons: Everytime you power down the unit or the internet goes down, it loses the settings you put into it causing all PC's to not be able to go online. Everytime, I had to reset it to default and run the setup wizard to get back online. The device was updated to its latest firmware that DLink has for it and I save my config settings and even if you restore from your backup file, it still makes you run the setup wizard.

Overall Review: I emailed DLink about the problem and they never replied to my email. I will not purchase another DLink product with my experience with this product.
