Pros: Aesthetically, beautiful. the window scheme with just the right amount of tint. the ability to completely mod the case with nothing but a screw driver and some patience (good sense of memory helps too) is beyond expectations at this price range. tons of space to design a custom water loop, or for that softball sized air cooler. if you can find a gpu that wont fit, text me and I'll kick my own @#$.
I've been building and fixing rigs for 15 years now, I have bought and sold countless computers and parts. for 100 dollars... i am blown away by this case, I am recommending it to everyone I know that's in the field.
if your on a budget, want quality for what you CAN afford, this is your case. even if you have a larger budget be confident knowing you can drop more of it into components and never have to worry about the case.
long review - in closing, buy it. you'll thank me.
Cons: few things
cant take an egg away for anything due to the price of the case, but they need to be pointed out for prospective buyers.
Head room for push pull on a top mounted rad. will not fit, anything over i believe 30mm wont fit without some tweaking.
no liquid cooling grommets on the rear of the case - not a huge deal given a dremal and know how. but kinda a standard now-a-days.
psu stealth cover - innovative yes... engineering flawed however, from removal/installation to the lack of either a fan port, ventilation slots (for a bottom case intake) or an additional SSD bracket or res mount. Again DIY dremal resolves... but would've been nice to see some functionality out of the box.
Pros: HEAVY - feels tough in weight alone.
Paired with a fx 6300 4.3 o.c.
corsair 16gb 2400ghz
pretty mean budget machine, friends pleased. filled his gaming needs for the upcoming wow expansion.
Cons: really none. Asus has always impressed me with quality components. ran a 939 A*N-SLI for 6 years nearly 24/7, never crashed, board still works today.
Other Thoughts: buy asus. buy good parts. use newegg, and get quick shipping, and awesome customer service.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Multi-led are better for custom rigs, that being said; I built a green themed tower for a recent intel build. now these fans only push factory settings when hooked up to molex connectors. which is decent enough. By using mobo connectors you get into a few more features of these fans with free software downloads. NOW - what I use is a 6 channel 5.25 fan controller, I can max out the rpms to 1500 while still keeping them quiet. I am looking into other cooling options Apevia offers after the satisfaction I have with these.
Cons: none - other than curious with the out put i am putting them thru. only had them a week, and they havent faltered a single rpm. might note I run my pc hard 18 hours a day, havent turned it off since i installed this 6 days ago.
Other Thoughts: I also bought a 200m Apevia fan, didnt fit into my case, but once I held it in my hand I drilled holes to make it fit on the side panel. you dont know led until you see this bad mambo!READ FULL REVIEW
