Pros: - Absolutely amazing performance, windows 7 boots in 16 seconds and is ready to use right away compared to booting from a mechanical hard drive. The advertised 540MB/s read speed is no joke, either. - The lack of support for TRIM made me think twice about getting it, but I have to say it doesn't need TRIM. I bought my revodrive in december 2010 and it's just as quick now as when I first booted up, both in benchmarks and how the operating system responds.

Cons: - It can be tricky to get windows to install and run from this drive at first, but the drivers were easy to load. ASRock released a BIOS update specifically for this drive that fixed a few problems my motherboard had with it. If your windows install is getting bluescreens, check for a BIOS update. - There is no header for a status LED like every RAID card I've had in the past, and the onboard one can't be seen from inside my case.

Overall Review: This SSD is worth it's jump in price over all the other SSDs of its size, and I would not hesistate to buy a newer version for my next desktop.
