LIAN LI PC-K65 Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-K65 Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Lots of space. Some cable routing.

Cons: Latch for cables fragile? Hard to keep clean. Loud fans.

Overall Review: First impression: Huge. It is kind of heavy. The front panel is smooth. A brushed aluminum kind of feel. I like. The rest of the panels had a sandier kind of feel. Don't touch these panels if you have oily hands. Easy to get dirty. I would've preferred all the panels made of the material used on the front panel. On the top of the case there is a small rectangular flap made of the smooth front panel material. Open it to find 1 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 port. Also headphone/mic. The reset button is about 1/4 to 1/5 the size of the power button. I don't see how people with big fingers will be able to push the button down. It is pretty deep as well, so you have to push the button all the way down to get the reset. It came with 3 fans, 1 120mm, 2 140mm I think. These are not PWM I think. Loud. I currently do not have them connected. The cable system is neat. After opening the case from the left I saw a hole near the bottom right (near the HDD cases). This was where cables could go through. After taking off the right panel I could see something that looks like a spinal column. I found six latches to keep cables in place. Later, found a seventh latch at the bottom of the case. Looked like it had been broken off. Not sure if this was intentional. Considering how jagged the spot where the broken latch is suppose to be. I think not. These latches look fragile. First build.

SilverStone Argon Series AR01 CPU Cooler with 120mm Fan for socket LGA775/1155/1156/1366/2011, AM2/AM3/FM1/FM2
SilverStone Argon Series AR01 CPU Cooler with 120mm Fan for socket LGA775/1155/1156/1366/2011, AM2/AM3/FM1/FM2

Pros: Quiet most of the time.

Cons: Sometimes not quiet.

Overall Review: Although I heard it was LGA1150 compatible, the instructions make no mention of LGA1150. Had trouble finding the right holes to use on the backplate. It eventually worked, but I don't know if I did it right. Blackplate is probably touching the case. With the motherboard in place in the case, the backplate is set so that it is longer running left to right than running up/down. Starting with the upper left corner (going clockwise) I used the lower left hole, the upper left hole, upper right hole, and the lower right hole. Hope that made sense. Installed it on a Asrock H87 Pro4.
