Great PC!

CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Xtreme H245 Intel Core i7-4790K 16GB DDR3 2TB HDD AMD Radeon R9 270 2 GB Windows 8.1 64-Bit
CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Xtreme H245 Intel Core i7-4790K 16GB DDR3 2TB HDD AMD Radeon R9 270 2 GB Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Pros: I've had a great experience with the PC so far. Everything worked right out of the box. The disk drive was a little out of place when I got it, but a) that could have happened during transport, and b) it was incredibly easy to position back into place. This thing is fast (crazy fast startup), silent, upgradeable, and looks really cool. All of the games and programs I use run great on high or ultra-high settings. Shipment was fast too. I bought mine for $999 which ended up only being $100 more than I was going to spend building my own rig with very similar specs, and this included a keyboard, mouse, and OS so the cost was actually neutral (maybe even a little better). All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Cons: Having a background in usability (I do web development for a living), I really dislike Windows 8. However, that's on Microsoft, not CyberPower at all. Plus, Windows 10 is right around the corner, and it looks like it's going to address my biggest complaints.

Overall Review: If you can pick this up at $999, it's a great, great buy. You honestly can't do too much better building your own rig - unless you're willing to spend more.

Good Card

VisionTek Radeon HD 6850 1GB DDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card 900588
VisionTek Radeon HD 6850 1GB DDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card 900588

Pros: Probably one of the best cards you get still get for older PCI slots. Made a huge difference once I got it installed.

Cons: It was a royal pain to install. Make sure you delete absolutely every driver associated with a graphics card before you try to boot up from it. Also, I knew it likely wasn't going to be quiet, so I'm more than fine with that; just don't expect it to run siliently.

Overall Review: If you have an older MoBo and still want to be up to snuff for new games, this is your guy. Despite being a pain to install, it's a great choice for gaming if you're not too strained on a budget.
