Linksys WUSB54GSC Network Adapter with SpeedBooster IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: It works well when it works properly but that is not always an easy task

Cons: For the first 3 months it constantly lost the router and had to be manualy reconnected. after about 3 months it would not reconnect. Signal strength was excellent ( I'm only a short distace from the router in the next room) but limited connectivity. After considerable time trying to get it to work I moved it to another computer.. same results. I called tech support good luck if you need to do that.

Overall Review: I got every excuse in the book.. my son was running xp media center.. I made the mistake of calling it media edition. Long story short I was told it won't work with ME. I said it has worked for 3 months." well it shouldn't have" I told this person I tried it in another computer and NG. that meant nothing.. more excuses..drivers ghosts wind whatever it could be. Since by now i was totally frustratd. I told them ok ..I run XP pro MAKE IT WORK ON MY COMPUTER.. He told me to send it back..FINALLY.. got the repaired exchange unit it installed it 2 minutes. it has been rock solid about 5 months and no more dropped connections. Guess I got a bad one but I have noticed a few other people with dropped connection issues. Buyer Beware

could be good...

ASUS RT-N16 802.11b/g/n Gigabit Wireless Router up to 300 Mbps DD-WRT Open Source support with USB Storage, Printer and Media Server
ASUS RT-N16 802.11b/g/n Gigabit Wireless Router up to 300 Mbps DD-WRT Open Source support with USB Storage, Printer and Media Server

Pros: it some what works..

Cons: I have had multiple issues with this router. Nothing past the normal internet functions appears to work. AiCloud, file share etc many attempts to log in to asus dns results in not found, The other problem is asking for a password or user name. I have tried every combination known to man it won't take it. Tech support is nonexistent email only, answer in 48 hours, we promise. Well try 8 days so far with no reply. I'm looking at the box and a RMA as maybe my only solution.

Overall Review: sad because I have dealt with asus since 02 motherboards, video cards you name it. Never had a problem of no support till now. Asus this is not acceptable customer support. If thats the best you can offer, on a product that by now should have all the bugs out it is time to start looking elsewhere.
