Good so far but helpful hint here

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100283L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100283L

Pros: Great card, plugged it in, downloaded the drivers and software super easy from the site.

Cons: things seemed to go well until after the computer restarted. i hooked it up using a hdmi-dvi cord that came with my monitor. the picture did not fill the screen. when i set it to 1600x720 resolution it did. but whats the point of having a card of this quality at such a low res? so i thought i may need a straight hdmi-hdmi cord. so went out and bought one...problem persisted. after searching through forums i found a fix via the Catalyst software. you have to reduce this one thing in the advanced settings to zero. annoying but it did fix it and now the card works great. still should have worked without a fix like that. i guess it recognizes the monitor as a tv because of the dvi and hdmi output and does some screen reduction for some reason. if you have trouble like me google 'hd 5770 screen doesnt fill monitor'

Overall Review: haven't tried it with sc2 yet but i play left 4 dead 2 on the highest settings with no lag. i can't believe what i was missing out on visually! i def recommend for the price

Good for awhile

Asus VH238H Black 23" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1
Asus VH238H Black 23" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1

Pros: -HDMI -External Power -1080p -Good size -Decent Stand -Speakers

Cons: I have owned this monitor for almost a year and a half, as of about 2 weeks ago it will occasionally go black for about 3 seconds and then come back on. I have no idea why as I haven't changed anything about my set up. To any gamers out there, imagine playing an intense multiplayer match online, then imagine being able to see nothing for a full 3 seconds, its super annoying. -Inaccurate colors (I even bought a spyder color calibration device, I use dual monitors and could never get them to match and it's clear that the other is colored correctly, this always has a blue tint. -Randomly goes black -Top of monitor is angled forward (making webcames very irritating to get settled)

Overall Review: I really didn't mind the monitor for the most part, I have been pretty happy with it until the random black outs which make it undependable.

Bad for gaming

LG 23" 60 Hz IPS FHD LCD Monitor IPS 5ms (GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, HDMI 23MP47HQ
LG 23" 60 Hz IPS FHD LCD Monitor IPS 5ms (GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, HDMI 23MP47HQ

Pros: Decent color reproduction Great viewing angles Decent contrast and brightness

Cons: Ghosting, awful awful ghosting (To expound on that what I mean is that when I play CS:GO or games where I turn quickly and there is a large contrast difference the monitor cannot keep up with the luminance change and it gives really bad ghosting which makes it very difficult to see sometimes) It will turn off automatically after a certain amount of time. My other 2 monitors just go to sleep and come back on when I move the mouse, this monitor turns all the way off for some reason with no sleep option that I could find.

Overall Review: If you're just using it for watching shows and browsing the internet its fine. If you want to play fast paced games or first person shooters I'd look elsewhere.
