Amazing power supply

EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 120-G2-1300-XR 80+ GOLD 1300W Fully Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 120-G2-1300-XR 80+ GOLD 1300W Fully Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: Extremely high wattage output. Has the same amazing evga quality that I have come to expect from such an amazing company. Surprisingly the fan in this unit is the quietest in my system. The metal this is constructed from is nice and solid. Plenty of connectors on the unit itself. Comes with a plethora of cables and nice nice bag to hold them as well as several velcro straps and the tie wraps from the cables themselves for cable management. The cpu power cable can be routed behind the tray with plenty of room to spare. Nice solid cable sleeving with discreet cables for when the ends show.

Cons: none.

Great laptop

ASUS VivoBook S 14X OLED Laptop, 14.5" OLED Display 2.8K 16:10 120Hz HDR, Intel Evo Platform, Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, 12GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, Midnight Black, S5402ZA-IS74

Pros: Stunning Oled 120hz screen. Even running full power plugged in it isnt too loud. HDR experience is good for a hdr600 rated display. Its the perfect laptop if youre thinking of gaming with GeForce now like I currently am. Keyboard is a solid 8/10 and the trackpad is a 9/10. But I bought this laptop for the hdr Oled 120hz screen with zero regrets. Solid aluminum shell makes the laptop feel like quality.

Cons: You HAVE to update this laptop including the bios because its slow and chugs until you do. Its all easy and straightforward with the included software. Get rid of Mcafee and the web extension and the rest of the bloatware before you do anything else. Bit of a fingerprint magnet but it is aluminum so it should be.

Overall Review: Amazing screen with pretty good capabilities. Only has integrated graphics so dont expect to game unless you use GeForce now or something equivalent.

great light gaming laptop

MSI 15.6" GL62 6QF-627 Intel Core i7 6700HQ (2.60 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop - "ONLY @ NEWEGG"

Pros: capable of playing gta 5 on med-high settings with solid 60fps. Plays skyrim ultra 60 fps. with a little know how you can install a pci ssd. comes with 1 8gb stick of ram installed leaving a slot open. Panel has little to no ghosting for such a cheap laptop. Stays surprisingly cool for being such a cheap laptop.

Cons: As normal this comes bloated enough to peg the hdd to 100% for the first 5 minutes of booting. I reinstalled a bare bones fresh copy of windows 10 with a pci ssd and it is a beast of a laptop for gaming.

Very fast

Intel Core i7-4790K - Core i7 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I74790K

Pros: Packaging inside the box was nice and snug, didn't have to worry about anything shifting around getting damaged. Thermal compound on the cooler had just the right amount on it imo to be as effective as possible.

Cons: The stock cooler doesn't cool well enough, was constantly getting in 45ish idling going to the low 80s while gaming. I don't know if the cooler was too small or the thermal compound wasn't good enough but replaced after initial operational checks satisfied me to ensure it worked as advertised. It will do the job even at those temperatures for most people for just gaming and moderate video editing.

Overall Review: After replacing the cooler with a H100i the idle is 38c and maxes 56c gaming and benchmarking at 70c after 1 hour of running the benchmark with auto voltages. I might change the auto voltage to a constant 1.125 to lower the top end of the temperature when benchmarking.

Good motherboard

ASUS Z97-PRO GAMER LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Z97-PRO GAMER LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Plenty of fan headers for several fans and good placement with 3 of them directly around the socket to help route wiring for liquid coolers. The back metal shim for the back io has a nice foam on the inside to help seal the case and the shim is thick enough and has a nice solid feel to it instead of the cheap stuff from most other board manufacturers. That yellow line by the audio chips actually lights up red to match the rest of the board when powered on. Aesthetically very pleasing. Motherboard felt very solid, less flex than the msi z97 board I bought a while back.

Cons: If you install a very long gpu such as a 970 or 980 etc it's a tight fit to unplug the sata ports directly under the card. Just something to take note of if you have large hands or don't have average finger dexterity.

Good product

ARCTIC MX-4 Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive, Non-Bleeding - 20g
ARCTIC MX-4 Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive, Non-Bleeding - 20g

Pros: Good viscosity to it. Easy to apply from the tube and comes with a resealable twist off from the syringe. Transfers heat well like it's meant to do. Came in a nice simple little box with some foam wrap around the point to protect from the cap ripping off and keeping the contents inside of the tube.

Cons: None.
