H80i FTW
Pros: Keeps CPU nice and cool
Cons: Installation directions are vague.
Overall Review: I am runngin it on FX-8350 clocked 4.3 ghz at idle Im averaging 19C and under load around 45C. It does get loud under load to keep cool but this does not bother me at all, as it might with others. Great CPU cooler!
Good all around gaming laptop
Pros: Bang for the buck! Good all around gaming laptop. Able to handle all 2011 games on highest settings. Its ability to remain somewhat cool.
Cons: The touch panel does not always work... Eject button does not work at on the touch panel. DVD player does not always work. (will not recognize that there is a disc in the tray) Power supply gets EXTREMELY HOT during gaming sessions. Keyboard feels flimsy and is hard to type on.
Overall Review: Dispite the DVD troubles... I am still able to play games on it at high settings. Good all around laptop. New games you will find that you need to turn the setting down a hair. Reason for 3 eggs: Touch panel does not work and DVD player does not always work either...
FX-8350 Zambezi?
Pros: Out of box no OC I am running at a nice 15 degrees C at 4.3 GHz!!! It is a great gaming CPU!
Cons: My FX-8350 came in a cardboard box? The CPU did not come in what is pictured (metal container). My computer see's the CPU as a FX-8350 ZAMBEZI!?
Overall Review: I was quite disappointed in the packaging of the CPU. I called AMD and they said that they do not package the FX-8350 in cardboard boxs and they do not make a varient of the FX-8350 "Zambezi". As to why my computer is seeing it as a Zambezi is beyond me. The packageing is not what is shown in the picture and I now have a FX-8350 Zambezi...? On another note! This cpu IS running clock speeds as advertised for this FX-8350 Vishera and plus some. So just be vigilant. If you get a FX-8350 in a cardboard box its probably a Zambezi....
