Powerhouse CPU
Pros: Very powerful processor! Clocks up to 4.0 GHz with no voltage increase, or can run at stock speed with voltage decrease, nice and stable.
Cons: Can run hot very quickly under load, especially when overclocking. Clocked up to 4.4 GHz but performance gain seemed negligible. It can overclock considerably higher, but probably not with air cooling. Stock cooler that comes with it looks rather puny, I didn't even try using it.
Overall Review: If you plan to overclock, should probably go with a liquid cooling solution. Temps get too high once you start raising voltage, even with very large heatsink/fan.
Good filters, weak magnets
Pros: Proper size for my case. Good quality filters.
Cons: Flimsy. Weak magnets. 3 of the included filters won't even stick to the case.
Overall Review: Great in concept, poor in application. Not worth what I paid since 3 aren't even usable.
Good, but not what I expected.
Pros: Fast and stable.
Cons: It replaced a Ryzen 5 1600X, but it didn't outperform it.
Overall Review: For the price, go up to a 3XXX you'll get better performance for the money.
Great board, just some minor issues
Pros: Easy install, BIOS pre-updated for 5XXX CPUs, excellent look, fast as can be when paired with 5XXX CPU. BIOS is intuitive, easy to figure out. Mouse function in BIOS, best I've seen yet.
Cons: The wifi is rather difficult to attach to the M.2. Could use another USB 2.0 header. The RGB header is a bit difficult to get to if you have a larger GPU. Stock setting for chipset fan (Aux) is too slow, causing SouthBridge to run near 70C idle until it's adjusted in BIOS.
Overall Review: Overall going great. I just hope it lasts longer than the previous one.... this replaced a non-wifi version that only lasted 8 months.
Pretty good, while it lasted
Pros: Lots of features, easy install. Love the dual M.2 slots.
Cons: Audio was the first thing to quit, after only 8 months. Could use another USB 2.0 header. The RGB Header is a bit difficult to get to when you have a larger GPU.
Overall Review: Overall a good board, but I work in radio, so when the audio quit mid-session it caused real problems. It suddenly stopped registering microphones, front or rear.
VERY NICE!
Pros: Easy installation. Sound absolutely excellent. Great price!
Cons: They are a bit heavy. The box they come in weighs nearly 40 pounds, so be prepared for that when they are delivered..
Overall Review: WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. These replaced a 20 year old set of Cerwin Vega speakers, and I can't believe the difference! I absolutely love 'em!
What a fiasco!
Ordered a PolkAudio 5.1 system from newegg, then needed an extra pair of satellite speakers to make it 7.1, which newegg didn't have. Purchased the pair from this seller. 15 days ago I received the 5.1 box and 1 additional satellite speaker (which came from another seller), presumably this seller only had 1 on-hand and I ordered a pair), with another coming from China.... 15 days later, the one from China was delivered to someone else, 4 hours away. I have proceeded to order another speaker elsewhere, rather than wait 3 weeks for this place to figure out what to do to rectify the situation. I emailed the seller's customer support... have yet to receive a reply. The one I ordered elsewhere was cheaper, anyway, so do yourself a favor. RUN!
Be Ready to Wait
If you want your order quickly, don't order here. 5 days after the order was placed, they hadn't even charged my card yet. I sent a message asking for an update, saying if the order hasn't shipped then I will cancel it. Hours later they charged my card. Another 2 days later (now a week after placing the order) I finally get notification that the order was canceled. They were quick to refund my money, I'll give credit where its due. Anyway, it was free shipping but it was 8-16 day overseas shipping, so add an additional week for them to get your order packaged and shipped to that 8-16 days. If you don't mind waiting that long, by all means give them a chance.
