This review is from: AVerMedia C027 AVerTV HD DVR
Pros: Easy setup, software is fairly easy to figure out. Able to work with all types of a/v signals smoothly.
Cons: If you're planning to watch live TV from a cable box, use the A/V and not the HDMI. Using HDMI the software will cry about copyright issues and stop playing. I suspect it would do the same from a DVD or Blu-Ray player, though I haven't tried it yet.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I picked this up as the second in a pair, for SLI.... so now I'm running two of these. Easy setup, very powerful graphics, great audio, and SLI setup was also quite easy. Precision-X software also works quite well and is easy to figure out. Virtually silent when idle.
Cons: The fans can get a bit loud when gaming or running benchmarks, but I suppose that is to be expected.
Other Thoughts: I went with a pair of these because my case only has 10 inches between drive bay and rear, and the 980s are an inch longer than the 970s. The 9.5 inch depth of the 970 allowed it to fit my case nicely.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RC-6-HDM-MM-BK-3 6 ft. Black High Speed HDMI Cable M-M
Pros: High-Speed, can handle anything you want to use them for, including stereoscopic 3D.
Other Thoughts: I'm primarily using this between my computer and receiver, and between receiver and TV. My old cables didn't handle it well, but these cables allow audio at 7.1 channel, 24-bit, 192 KHz sample rate.READ FULL REVIEW
