Pros: Installed 2 of these 120GB drives in Raid 0. Substantial increase in performance. Had 2 SATA 3 standard HD's in Raid 0 before picking up these drives and the performance was noticeably less. From 5.9 to 7.4.

Cons: None except this is an OEM drive and does not come with any software.

Overall Review: If I could afford it I'd pick up more of these drives and use them in my other PC's. The standard HD's are, in my opinion, best used for storage.

Pros: The 1st board I received was fine but wouldn't go into the BIOS with a USB keyboard. MSI insisted I RMA it. I later discovered that this common and 'not' an actual problem with the board itself.

Cons: MSI sent me a replacement board. When I attempted to register this board it came up as 'invalid' on their server. I used the original serial number and their server accepted it. They E-mailed me indicating that the board is 'out of warranty' so I E-mailed them back and told them that the serial number on their replacement board was not accepted by their server, provided the correct serial number and never heard back from them. I was forced to purchase a new 990FXA-GD80 so I could spare myself from reinstalling all the drivers and hoped I would 'not' have to reactivate Windows. Driver part was fine but Microsoft insisted on reactivation. I then attempted to register the new board on their server and keep getting error 404, over and over and over again. They have ignored my requests.

Overall Review: The board itself I have no problem with. Seems to last about 3 years which I believe is the length of the warranty. It is the customer service I have a problem with.

Pros: Drive works fine. No problems with it so far. Win7 64 will not allow ready boost on the drive.

Cons: According to New Egg advertisement I was supposed to get either a DVDRW drive or blu-ray. All I got was the drive. Oversight? Maybe.

Overall Review: Seagate drives have proven reliability. Been using them for years. They ALL work. Even the old IDE's. Why did I knock off 2 stars? Didn't get my DVDRW drive as the ad promised.
