Great little computer
Pros: Light, small, stylish and runs reasonably fast - great for lightweight applications. I plan to use it for note taking, coffee shop surfing, etc when I don't want to lug my big laptop.
Cons: Great gaming machine!!! Not. Whatdda want for $350? Don't whine if it doesn't run Photoshop. 2 GB RAM should be automatic.
Overall Review: Get the 2 GB RAM upgrade. Warning - it didn't work until I upgraded the BIOS, I think to 0904 from a 06xx version.
Problems with S-VHS
Pros: The unit works fine as long as I'm encoding a standard VHS video.
Cons: The unit works fine as long as I'm encoding a standard VHS video. However when I try to do the same with a S-VHS video, there is a sync problem such that there is a band at the bottom of the video that is not horizontally synced properly - the same video out looks fine on a monitor. I tried the unit on two completely different computers and operating systems, so clearly it's a problem with the unit, not my computers.
Great board for minimal PC
Pros: Works well with Ryzen 7 5700G. BIOS update easy.
Cons: A little low on SATA interfaces but you knew that right? Since this is a minimal build.
Overall Review: Yes definitely recommend. Good support from Gigabyte and AMD.
