Western Digital Blue WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Been working great for a few years now. Does exactly what it needs to do.

Cons: Seems a been pricey now that the larger drives are available. If you want to pinch pennies, I'm sure it's a good buy.

XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish 1.0 mm SECC Chassis ATX Full Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: It's a case. Expansion card lever is nice, no screws. Fan locations are nice.

Cons: Plastic is cheaply made and cracks/breaks easily. 2 out of 4 plastic feet broke off completely. The two huge fans broke within a year. They're too expensive to replace and are not currently needed, so I'm doing without for now.

Other Thoughts: I believe this case is overpriced compared to other similar models/brands. The large fans are nice, but they probably won't last long. Seems like a common problem with this case.

2 out of 5 eggs Worked, then died 05/24/2011

This review is from: APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W ATX Power Supply

Pros: There are 3 reasons I'm giving this 2 eggs: 1. It doesn't deserve the 4 egg average, 2. It worked for 2.5 years before dying, and 3. (a pro) It didn't kill any other parts in my system when it died.

Cons: Again, died after 2.5 years, but since it was 40 bucks, I guess the typical 80 dollar PSU would have lasted 5 years or more at that rate. My experience with decent, more expensive PSU's though is that they last well beyond the 5 year warranty period.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this PSU unless you only need it for a short amount of time, Possibly very short. Also, don't buy it if you have other expensive parts in your system or critical data on your hard drives that isn't backed up. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better one.
