Good monitor for the price

ASUS VS229H-P Black 22" (Actual size 21.5") Widescreen LED Monitor FHD 1920 x 1080 IPS 5ms (GTG) VESA HDMI DVI VGA 3.5mm Earphone Jack

Pros: This monitor has great resolution and great color as well. For the price it really can't be beat. All my games look great on it. I also really liked how it had VGA, DVI, and HDMI to choose from.

Cons: The stand is kind of flimsy, but other than that none.

Overall Review: I bought this monitor to replace an older Dell model. Dell monitors tend to more expensive, but also tend to be worth it. However, I was blown away with the quality I got from this monitor for the price. If you are looking for a budget monitor for gaming, this is the one.

Not A Good Choice

Thermaltake TR2 TR-600 600 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply
Thermaltake TR2 TR-600 600 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

Pros: Worked very well. Ran my GTX 650 Ti and a bunch of peripherals with no trouble at all. Very quiet for a time.

Cons: First unit failed, and second unit is going to fail. Became very noisy under heavy load, and the noise is abnormal.

Overall Review: My first unit failed while I was playing Borderlands 2 after 3 weeks of use. I figured I had a lemon, so I returned it for a new one. Less than two weeks later, the second unit has begun making an odd rattling sound which increases under load. I'm afraid to play any games because I may have another failure.

Great card for the gamer on a budget

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card GV-N65TOC-2GI
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card GV-N65TOC-2GI

Pros: -Installed easily with no problems -Doesn't get too hot -Runs all my games, such as Borderlands 2, Skyrim, on Ultra High at 60 FPS. -Has choice of DVI, HDMI, and VGA -Very quiet. Even under heavy load the fans barely make a sound

Cons: -Driver update needed at first -Somewhat large. Do not buy if you have a small tower

Overall Review: I bought this card on sale for $140, and it performs excellently. One thing that did sort of bug me was that it blue screened once and crashed once while playing Skyrim, but a driver update fixed that.

Great find for the price

Logitech G230 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Gaming Headset
Logitech G230 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Gaming Headset

Pros: -Sound quality is good -Mic is sensitive enough to pick up my voice but not too sensitive -Very comfortable on my head -Doesn't get uncomfortable after five hours of gaming -Inline volume control

Cons: -Headband padding can became slightly uncomfortable after a while -Kind of hard to store

Overall Review: The fabric that surrounds the ear cups doesn't ventilate very well and tends to make my ears hot after a lot of wearing time, but this isn't really an issue. Another thing to add is that these are very good if you have a big head, big ears, and/or glasses. I have all three of these, and they don't bother me at all. For the price this is a great headset for the gamer on a budget.
