This review is from: HAWKING HWREN1 Hi-Gain Wireless-300N Range Extender
Pros: Easy to set up in mere seconds! My wireless router out in the garage could only cover the 1st floor and not much of the 2nd floor or basement. I put this in the middle of the 1st floor and now the entire home has full signal strength on every wireless device that is used. No instability at all. Works perfectly!

Pros: Got two of these when there was a nice discount on them. Does exactly as advertised.
Found out it can take a beating too. I wasn't paying attention and tugged on the wrong cable when I was messing with stuff under the desk. Flung it into the wall, hits a solid wood footstool on the way down, before landing on the concrete floor. Not a scratch on it, still worked perfectly!
Cons: I didn't buy more of these?READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-731BR N300 Wireless Home Router
Pros: Small, light, and next to no heat generation. Perfect fit for the data box that it sits in, unlike the one it replaced that was too big for me to put the cover on. The control panel provides the usual parameters, and is laid out neatly.
Cons: The wireless signal strength is significantly lower than the previous wireless router that it replaced. This was also around $60 cheaper at the time of purchase than said wireless router. Cost vs. performance, so I won't take any eggs off for that. The one egg that I did take off though is because it sometimes takes up to a minute to log in to the control panel. I have yet to figure out why, or what causes it. Nothing time critical that I need to get into the CP quickly, just an annoyance.
Other Thoughts: The data box that my routers go in is out in the garage. My previous router could cover the whole house, basement to 2nd floor, just fine. This one can barely get to either one. Though as mentioned, this has a significantly lower price than my old router. If you have a similar situation, I would recommend purchasing a wireless repeater, which I'm about to do, or put money into a higher end router.READ FULL REVIEW
