Same Issue with flickering

MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9 270X GAMING 2G
MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9 270X GAMING 2G

Pros: When its running properly the graphics are on point and the card is very silent I have been putting it through its paces and watching the temp on the card and it stays relatively cool. Just changed the mobo out to a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ to give this card some more speed but downside is 2.0 instead of 3.0 pci express.

Cons: Well as many have complained about the flickering issue I also have it too with new 13.12 catalyst drivers. Already submitted a inquiry with AMD no response as of yet. Well will see if the next update will fix all of the R7's and R9 series flickering problems.

Overall Review: Yeah If MSI is reading this get on AMD to fix the glitch.

Most Critical Review

Nero Nooooooooooooo

Nero 12 Platinum
Nero 12 Platinum

Pros: Looking for some.

Cons: Where do I start, well lets see I purchased nero platinum upgrade from the main site, but bought nero 12 from new egg. So I figured I better warn the rest of the folks about this product before they buy. The software is very glitchy and and slow at times and blu ray does not work in Platinum . Nero support is a con because they respond with these automated emails that make you believe someone is really looking into your issue. I emailed them many times in a weeks period trying to get some help. No response any more. I didn't know they were located in Germany so basically that means I'm out of luck with this expensive product.

Overall Review: Do not buy this product try a more windows 7 or 8 compatible product

Very Stable MB

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Its a very stable mother board that stays cool under extreme duress. Extremely fast compared to some intel boards and very reasonably priced. I am pretty satisfied up to this point with very few hick ups. Windows 8.1 on the other hand can cause some of the many issues folks complain about. Rock solid knock on wood heehee

Cons: Does not like windows 8.1 all to well but it copes with it like a raccoon that's in your attic makin all sorts of noise heehee.

Overall Review: Its a great buy for the money for those gamers out thier who are on a sever budget.

So far So good

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Well let me see where does me start at. I had to replace the GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 so I could get better use of the AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz CPU and the MSI R9 270X GAMING 2G Radeon R9 270X GPU with GA-990FX- UD3 Rev 4.0 which seems an excellent match.. If you compare the two Mobo you will see the great difference in performance capabilities. It fit into the case without a problem. Instructions were simple to understand and the layout on the 990Fx pin out is easy to read. Oh yeah Me like the UEFI BIOS feature its on point. When Ifirst powerd up this Mobo it shut right down but pushed pwr button again and the thing was runnin like a bat out of well I think you know what I mean heehee (a cave). It seem a small issue with bios not recognizing one of my cards but has been up and running since 10 Jan 2014 today's date is 13 Jan 2014

Cons: 1st con is the rear I/O shield has a small alignment problem the inputs don't line up properly making it a pain to hook up the usb connectors. 2nd is win 8.1 for some reason will not allow this mobo to sleep. Searching the world wid web for a fix to the issue and have emailed Gigabyte with this small issue 30 mins ago gonna see if its win 8.1 or a BIOS related issue. Gonna wait for Gigabyte to get back wit me for solution to my sleep deprivation problem heehee.

Overall Review: Other than the two minor issue thus far I am happy with this Mobo so far will report back in at a later date if I enconter any other hidden Easter eggs I should be looking for.

Faulty Card

SAPPHIRE Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support OC Video Card 100366L
SAPPHIRE Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support OC Video Card 100366L

Pros: The pros was when it was not crashing with the Adobe flash player giving me a black screen it was on point. It has excellent graphics rendering. Purchased this because of the low power usage compared to the NVIDIA GTX 650 TI boost. Had o RMA with newegg. AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard IN WIN GreenMe 650 650W ATX 12V V2.31& EPS 12V 2.92 Version SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Cons: Crash crash crash is what I kept getting with the new AMD graphics drivers. Windows 7 action center gave a message of ATI Radeon card stopped working. The video card would completely shut down and give a black screen causing me to have to hard reboot. If I leave the computer unused it would crash and reboot also. I called Sapphire explained the issue, the tech stated it sounds like a bad graphics card and to replace it. New egg responded quickly to this problem and RMA'ed for me. Now have too wait for a new one to be sent. I had to put my Sapphire 7770 GHZ Edition back in it never crashed like the R7 260X. Forgot to mention Mozilla Foxfire 26 with latest Flash would seem to cause this situation with the R7 200 series card.

Overall Review: Other thoughts would be maybe this is the only dud out of the lot and the new one being sent will function as designed.
