Good bang for the buck!
Pros: Had this headset for over 6 months. Great comfort and fit for the headset. No ear sweating due to the mesh. I have a large head. Does an EXCELLENT job of surrounding your ear, you'll never hear a nagging wife or screaming kids again. Good quality sound. Mic works really well with TS and Vent, buddies have no problems hearing me and no problems with random mic noise when NOT using PTT.
Cons: Not an audiophiles headset. If you are gaming and the only responsible adult you'll have to play with one ear off. You literally won't hear anything but the game with these guys.
It's good but...
Pros: Inserts well into the cigarette lighter, always a good solid connection. The neck is very flexible so you can navigate around stuff. The bluetooth connection is solid for phone calls. The mic is good for phone calls, never a problem people hear me clearly. Well constructed.
Cons: If you really like music, don't get it. It doesn't play the mid range sounds well and often crackles. I've tuned the frequency a bit and it just seems to be shortcoming in the system. I've reverted back to using my tape deck with stereo input from my iPhone. If you're a casual listener you probably won't notice.
Solid laptop for normal use
Pros: Good amount of RAM, decent chip speed, decent SSD.
Cons: Not for leftys!!! The space bar is a little short on the left side. If you are a lefty don't buy this laptop, you will annoyed with constant mishits.
Overall Review: Bought this for the wife, she's a righty. It is a heavy laptop, if you're normal or petite sized person who is going to walk around with it go somewhere else. If you're like most, and just moving it from one table to the next you're good. It definitely has the horsepower for Office, email, and photos and I think it is future proofed for a few years. Solid buy at this price point.
Plays BF4 like a champ
Pros: BF4 @ 1920x1080 Plays the game at high settings for sure and gets 40 to 60 FPS. Good bang for the buck card that will play BF4 really well.
Cons: Doesn't come with beer. It's a big card as other mentioned. If you have a small or packed case I'd be nervous about putting it in there.
