Pros: For basic functions, it is quick and easy to set up. More complicated functions take a bit longer, but work as they are supposed to. The great thing about Synology's software is that you can even set up advanced functions with minimal effort. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Overall Review: For remote access, I'm running an FTP server and have it configured to work with my smart phones. It is connected to my UPS and will unmount the volume if the UPS gets low on battery. I've got security set up for myself and reduced access for guests. If my external IP address changes, it will email me the new IP. There are just so many options with this thing. The software is really the greatest thing about this. Hardware is so far functioning with no issues.

Pros: Was simple to set up and worked as advertised.

Overall Review: I got tired of not having wireless internet access when I visit my parents. Hooked it up to their cable modem and pc. Cloned the PC MAC address and everything worked perfectly. Didn't need anything fancy for them, so this device was perfect for the situation.

Pros: Extremely customizable. My last mouse was a G7 and maxed out the DPI at 2000. Got this one for normal usage at 3000 and love it. Just a slight movement will span both monitors. Comfortable hand position and can't accidentally hit the wrong button. I was surprised by the button that turns the scroll wheel from free moving to having a slight click when using it. Small but nice touch.

Cons: The number of buttons can be a bit daunting and if you're coming from a mouse with fewer buttons, it will take a while to memorize what you configure each button to do.

Overall Review: Overall, I'm happy with the transition.

Pros: I've used about 30 of these discs so far and haven't had a bad one yet. All movies I've burned have played well and burned well.
