Great Hub!

Orico H4818-U3-WH Portable 4-Port USB 3.0 Mini Hub with 3.3 Ft USB 3.0 Cable
Orico H4818-U3-WH Portable 4-Port USB 3.0 Mini Hub with 3.3 Ft USB 3.0 Cable

Pros: At first I was a bit leery purchasing an "off brand" USB 3.0 hub, but I have been very impressed with this Orico product and have purchased other Orico Hubs since then. Very well made product if you are looking for a 3.0 hub and easily an equal of the other more well known brands.

LB1 High Performance© Asus X401 Series Laptop Battery

Pros: There are other laptop batteries cheaper, but LB1 is backed by warranty and backed by Newegg. The battery runs strong and long. You get what you pay for!

Can't go wrong with G.Skill!

G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-16GBSQ
G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-16GBSQ

Pros: I have never had an issue with G.Skill memory in Intel or AMD builds. I have used it flawlessly in desktops, laptops, servers, Windows based builds, Linux based builds, etc. I'll choose G'Skill every time over any other memory because of system versatility and durability. You can't go wrong with G.Skill!

Great Small Form Factor Media PC Graphics Card

MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card N750 Ti-2GD5TLP
MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card N750 Ti-2GD5TLP

Pros: Between the single slot height and the low, motherboard powered requirements of this card, it makes a perfect choice for Media PC's. It comes with a low profile bracket for small form factor cases. This is not your "big gaming card", but will handle all of the functions you want for a "TV" PC.

Cons: A word of warning for Linux builders: Nvidia can be a pain when it comes to getting drivers to work on Linux systems. Though this is not an issue with Windows systems, if I made this build again for a Linux system, I probably would have gone with an AMD card due to better compatibility with Linux.

Raijintek Pallas, Interesting design from a "newer" competitor in the CPU cooler market

RAIJINTEK PALLAS, High-End Low Profile CPU Cooler, 6pcs 6mm Heat-Pipe, Slim 14013 PWM Fan, Fully Nickel Plating, Copper Base, Total 68mm Heigth Including Fan, Supports Intel & AMD Modern CPU Sockets
RAIJINTEK PALLAS, High-End Low Profile CPU Cooler, 6pcs 6mm Heat-Pipe, Slim 14013 PWM Fan, Fully Nickel Plating, Copper Base, Total 68mm Heigth Including Fan, Supports Intel & AMD Modern CPU Sockets

Pros: 68mm height is great for SFF cases. A 140mm fan on a low profile cooler is very nice. Designed to clear standard height RAM, no need to purchase low profile RAM.

Cons: Be careful of how high your Northbridge heatsink is, I had to remove mine and modify it dramatically in order to fit the cooler. Would have liked to have seen ANY copper for conductivity. All heat pipes and base are Nickel Plated. The 140mm fan is held in place by two goofy wire connectors, would have liked to have seen some type of screw attached clips like Coolermaster or other brands use. These design issues brought my review down to 4 stars.

EVGA Supernova--The Gold Standard in Power Supplies!

EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GS 220-GS-0850-V1 80+ GOLD 850W Fully Modular EVGA ECO Mode Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GS 220-GS-0850-V1 80+ GOLD 850W Fully Modular EVGA ECO Mode Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: Everybody knows that EVGA Supernova's are the best Power Supplies on the market. The Warranties are great and they stand by them. It's always just a matter of finding rebates and sales so that you can get them at a decent price. The fully modular design is great. Lots of cable options. Even a power switch on the inside as well as the outside of the power supply (I guess if your hands can't reach the whole seven inches around to the back side of the power supply).

Cons: None
