As with the others....
Pros: 7 ports, powered, looks spiffy
Cons: After a little while, it will drop all connections when data is streamed through the hub. Hoping a manufacturer RMA comes through, and they have fixed the issues by now. If not, guess it goes into the "I wasted my money" pile.
Overall Review: find something else
Pros: Runs some of my older games in 1080, although I dont do much gaming these days. No glitches in Win7. Have not tried HDMI sound or BR at this point, so no comment there.
Cons: Says crossfire compatible on box, has no crossfire tab. Misleading.
Make sure your battery is charged or plugged in during file transfer!
Pros: Decent low light performance. Good optical zoom, standard features.. nice to have option to go from DVD to flash memory. Sound is excellent.
Cons: When you transfer files, and the power runs out, your files will be corrupted. Took 22 hours for a good software tool to recover them from the disk afterward, and now those files dont work, at least for now. Somewhat grainy on high quality on a computer playing to TV (720p output Avivo codecs).
Might not work in Vista, or Windows 7
Pros: INexpensive, looks like most of the others out there. Worked well in XP... as long as I didnt use a drive.
Cons: Needs external power if you use too many devices, no good drivers availible, freezes both Vista SP1 and Windows 7 beta minutes after inserting, and freezes XP after you use a flash drive. Supposedly a typical error with these cheap pcmcia cards. Probably because the port is not supposed to handle that kind of speed.
Overall Review: Rosewill usually has good stuff, but looks like this is useless to me.
