runs awesome but a little warm

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1

Pros: Runs great. I've overclocked it up to 2100 even though I didn't need to. But I just run it stock and it still goes up to 1949mhz. I game at 1080p so this card is kind of overkill. I came from an R9-270x so this was a great upgrade.

Cons: Only con is that it runs kind of hot. Temps have gotten up to 67c. I know that's not bad for the card but coming from a card that ran mid 50's for a couple summers it's a little change.

Overall Review: This card is awesome. I'm happy with my purchase. People are complaining about no SLI. Doesn't matter to me. I replaced the thermal paste on the card to see if it would help with temps. Used arctic silver 5. Made no difference. At least I know what it has and it's applied correctly. Runs Rainbow Six: siege, overwatch, battlefield 4 and battlefield 1 beta all on ultra. The GeForce experience is really cool to optimize your games for you. This is my first nvidia card since my 9500gt. I'm not a fanboy of either brand. I'm a fanboy of bang for the buck and this is it.

Nice frames but the memory runs blazing hot!

GIGABYTE Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 5.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GV-R9060XTGAMING OC-16GD RX 9060XT
GIGABYTE Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 5.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GV-R9060XTGAMING OC-16GD RX 9060XT

Pros: Gives nice frame rates

Cons: Memory runs hot and has driver issues

Overall Review: As stated, the memory reads up to 86C. The core doesnt get past 61C though. Since this thing runs hot it makes my CPU also run hotter than it ever has. Ive tried undervolting and dropping the power limit by up to 20% and cant get it cooled to my liking. I specifically picked the Gigabyte model for the three fan design and pass through cooling. Im thinking the problem is that the core and memory share the cooling plate to the heatsink and the heat from the core spreads to the memory too much. Between all this and the special gel GB uses, it may not be all its cracked up to be. Ive also had NUMEROUS driver crashes and hang ups. The driver issues are exactly that. The few games I play would crash to desktop or just hang for a few seconds then get going again. By that time Im dead or other people are dead. And of course on every crash, the AMD software wants to send a crash report which also further interrupts the game even more. Maybe I just got a bad one. Maybe Im trippin. I know cards and CPUs can run hotter and be ok but when my normally cool bedroom is now the hottest room in the house, thats not ok. Either way, Im sending it back for a replacement and if that one runs hot too, then Ill return it and explore other options.

Works great

MSI SHADOW GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card RTX 5060 Ti 16G SHADOW 2X OC PLUS
MSI SHADOW GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card RTX 5060 Ti 16G SHADOW 2X OC PLUS

Pros: Nvidia software

Cons: None at all

Overall Review: I replaced a 4060 with a 9060xt for some extra horsepower and the AMD card just ran hot and I didnt care for the adrenalin software. I tried undervolting and nothing helped temps. Grabbed the 5060ti and installed the Nvidia app back on my PC. Runs like a dream and way cooler. This trades blows back and forth with the 9060xt but Ill take the software advantage any day. Cant wait for Battlefield 6!!

very nice upgrade!!

Acer Gaming Series KG241 Pbmidpx 24" Full HD 1920 x 1080 1ms 144Hz DVI HDMI DisplayPort AMD FreeSync Built-in Speakers WideScreen LED Backlit LCD Gaming Monitor
Acer Gaming Series KG241 Pbmidpx 24" Full HD 1920 x 1080 1ms 144Hz DVI HDMI DisplayPort AMD FreeSync Built-in Speakers WideScreen LED Backlit LCD Gaming Monitor

Pros: It’s 1080p and 144hz. Coming from a 60hz ASUS this thing is great. It makes all of the games I play look really good and buttery smooth. Also, I got it on sale on Black Friday for 160 shipped. Came with a DisplayPort cable which is great. I was worried it wouldn’t come with one or only would come with an hdmi.

Cons: There is a small streak or something that looks like a small comet of gray pixels in the upper left corner of the screen. I’m not sure if it’s dead or stuck pixels But looks like it could be a mark on the underside of the screen film or whatever the term is for it. They still seem to change colors but it’s kinda distorted in that area. The length is maybe 1cm and maybe as wide as a pencil lead. It’s not worth it to try to RMA as it doesn’t really bother me. Only other con is the interface to adjust the picture. It’s not bad just takes some getting used to. I definitely had to adjust it to get in looking good. Going through the other settings is kinda awkward.

Overall Review: Being a TN panel I knew I would have to mess with it some to make it look right. The monitor is kinda bright. I didn’t change the brightness but I did lower the black or blue level setting. It’s one of their presets in there. It was at 5 I lowered it to 2 and it looks better. I play mostly at night with a nightstand lamp on next to my bed. My wife hasn’t complained about it being bright. COD BO4, BF1 and 5 and overwatch all look great on it. All in all I’m very happy with this monitor and for the price you really can’t beat it. I’m pushing it using a gtx 1060 6gb.

doesn't get easier

TP-Link AC750 Wifi Range Extender | Up to 750Mbps | Dual Band WiFi Extender, Repeater, Wifi Signal Booster, Access Point| Easy Set-Up | Extends Wifi to Smart Home & Alexa Devices (RE200)

Pros: Opened it up, read the instructions, plugged it and hit the wps button on my router and the button on the tp link waited maybe a minute and it was done. Easy as anything.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I got this to get better wifi in my garage since it was a little spotty out there since my router is in my bedroom across the house. This thing did exactly what I wanted it to do. Setup was a breeze. Newegg came through on their shipping speed yet again. Ordered about noon and arrived the next day at 3. Doesn't get any better.

awesome card but a little warm

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OC
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OC

Pros: I upgraded from an R9 270x that was running rainbow six siege on medium and 50-60 fps now I run it on max and and lowest I've seen is about 81 fps when playing. In the menus in siege the fps stays at 60 fps but goes up once a match begins. Must be part of the nvidia optimized thing. This is my first nvidia card since I had a 9500gt. I also play overwatch on epic settings and seen about 130 something fps.

Cons: The only con I can say as this card runs warmer than my last. The hottest I've seen it get is 67c. I know that's not bad thermal wise but when my last card got up to only 56c it's a bit of a change.

Overall Review: Overall this card is great minus the heat difference from my last. This thing should last me a long time. I've never been a fanboy if either brand just seemed to end up with AMD the past couple times. Can't wait for battlefield 1 to see how it does. Just wanna give newegg some props for their shipping speed. I ordered this Wednesday night about 830pm and received it Friday. Of course I'm only about 3 hours away from their shipping facility.
