Overall Review: if this thing came with a detachable external antenna it would absolutely be my go to router. the range is crummy compared to my ac56u that has internal antennas. i'm currently using it as a bridge i was so turned off by other people's comments about how hard it was to get the rebate that i decided i would try for it but not that hard. lo and behold, when i go to the asus website to fill out rebate info i sent in an infinite loop of filling out forms and the next page not loading correctly causing me to have to restart the whole process. ultimately i spent 15 mins on it and decided it wasn't worth my time. TLDR: if you buy this, don't bank on the rebate process being simple. or working at all.

Pros: Quick shipping, as always, newegg keeping up their good quality service.

Cons: Nothing angers me off more than a DOA. Now to deal with the whole process that ensues. Great.

Cons: The plastic pieces that clamp the earphones to the headband have cracks running lengthwise along them. I baby these things because I've heard they were fragile. Unacceptable quality for the price tag.

Overall Review: I was willing to overlook a few of the performance issues but when the product starts physically falling apart I get frustrated. What happened to building products that last?

Cons: Slow and drops connections 10% of the time. 5GHZ range not that great Internal antennas

Overall Review: Sometimes I experience connectivity and speed issues. Whenever this happens I power cycle the router (not the modem) and the issues disappear. This could potentially be things further down the line.

Pros: Inexpensive & reliable.

Cons: It's red.

Pros: Noticeably lightning fast boot times. After POST, 6-8 seconds until login screen. Room for OS + other goodies! Easily updated to latest firmware.

Cons: It's kinda spendy.
