Good little card.
Pros: Saved me from not having enough USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 connections. Has internal power and includes some power adapter cords. Plugged into PCIe slot and tested every port with webcam and a USB 3.0 memory stick, no issues. Driver CD comes with it but not needed for Windows 10. Every port the same and every port backwards compatible.
Cons: None.
pretty good, love the colors, DON'T TRUST THE REBATE
Pros: plug in and go mostly, but software installation was required. i like the colors at first. fast, easy, klicky cherry blue :) solid/heavy unit on the desk.
Cons: I didn't think the short instructions were very good. i tried to dig more online and then with the software to figure out how to work the keyboard profiles. i'd set and then they would get lost somehow. software backup & recovery of profiles wasn't straight forward and working well. it's not as brainless and easy as it should be. i think the software needs some work. it's not fun/easy to get funky with these. About a year now... finally remembered to follow up... no rebate! . I'm going to dock them another star. I don't like mfgrs that put you through all the hassle and work of submitting rebates to void your return potential and then don't follow up and send you your rebates. DON'T TRUST THE REBATE! I'm not overly happy with the thought of keeping these functional through dirt/objects/spills or whatever. I'm not sure how to keep these clean or what to do if i spill liquid down in them. My first mechanical cherry blue had issues in one key and I had to ponder how much effort and potential risk it would take to un-soder and replace a switch if needed. It eventually dried out and got functional though. the ergonomics are fine. i have 3 of these now and they are generally comfy on hands that just can't type hardly anymore. i fight hand issues a lot, so i'm very sensitive to keyboards and the mechanichal keys are great. i couldn't figure out at first why my handers were getting so fatigued so much working on these, after a year, still something of an issue. they aren't as lightweight a keyboard as I've hoped. the key height seems to be just a touch high and an issue. minor annoyance: the cords don't stay firm in the cord channel underneath the keyboards. if you lift keyboard, the cord falls out and you have to re-channel the cord to lay it back down.
Overall Review: Good keyboard overall. I actually bought a second one. Maybe I try DAS next time though.
Good enough
Pros: Brushed black aluminum chassis is very pleasing. Works, tested 2 devices on all ports, one 3.0, one 2.0, no issues. Blue LEDs light up ports that are active.
Cons: Note: "HUB is not a Charger, Data transfer Only"- I could swear that was not part of the description posted online when I purchased this and I wasn't aware of that important detail until noticing it as part of my receipt. I consider this a short coming for a more expensive, powered unit I hoped would have that convenience. Restrictive return policy/timeline. It ships from China and so takes some time to get here. I've only had it a very short while (< 2 weeks)... just getting to it now.. but it's already non-returnable??? USB cable seems just a touch short @ approx 2.5 feet. The actual hub is a bit bigger/bulkier than hoped for. Seems like it could/should be smaller. Definitely not a travel hub. Pay attention to the combined plug/transformer at the end of the power cord. It's bulky and is designed just about right to block about 3 power plugs on some surge strips, depending on which why they face. I hate when manufacturers take up outlet real estate the plug. Obviously, if you need an external HUB, it likely means you have a lot of devices and extra need for plugs. I ended up having to use an extra 1' power extension cord to plug it in to my surge strip, but that leads to additional unwanted cord clutter.
Pros: somewhat small, lightweight, comes with cables, led tells you current charge. leds indicate current charge is nice.
Cons: have to press button. Mostly typical chinese junk--long on hype but shot on delivery, lightweight-light duty, long recharge time, drained fast, i got only about 15% recharge on samsung s5 out of it while actively using my s5, so better to just buy an extra battery vs this darn thing. On the other hand, full re-charge to my sansa fuze while using so if lightweight duty and you want cheap on sale, then maybe okay. if you need heavy duty backup or recharge, look elsewhere.
Works as expected
Pros: Bought 2, dropped each into my 2 Panasonic cameras, seems to work as expected, no issues.
Cons: None.
LED works, charging does not
Pros: About what you'd expect. Dual USB ports. LED power indicator.
Cons: LED lights up, so I can tell when it connects fine in the 12V socket of my car. It doesn't recharge my Samsung smart phone at all. .5 A, wondering if it's a power requirements issue, a cable issue (cable I have works everywhere else though) or a DOA. Not like these things are super complicated to mfg and test out before packaging I wouldn't think.
Overall Review: Maybe I'll get this figured out yet, but right now, this thing is a non-starter. A plug-in USB charger should be a brainless product, and I'm only out about $3-4 or so, but I certainly wouldn't have wasted my time and money on a non-working product. Not worth the time and money and gas to try to package and RMA it.
