Really great laptop
Pros: -Really awesome design and lightweight -EPEAT Energy Saver and Battery saver programs -Switching between graphics is convenient and saves battery when not gaming -Price on Newegg is a steal
Cons: -A LOT of crapware -RIC Utility makes songs skip (common problem among Ideapad models) -The gloss finish makes it a magnet for dust -Screen does not support 1080p resolution, but it isn't noticeable
Overall Review: This laptop is a serious step up from my 2009 Toshiba Satellite A665. It's GeForce 555M rips through any game I put up on it and it's i7 processor can handle a ton of work. Simply put, this laptop is a monster, in a good way. Once you clear out the useless programs and turn on that GPU to power and performance, this thing really shines. It isn't that bad on the wallet either for a laptop of this caliber. It doesn't come with 8GB RAM or one of the higher level graphics cards but it still manages to DO WORK. P.S Get rid of RIC asap! It tends to skip songs and make enjoying media a hassle.
