4.5 If I Could Give It
Pros: IDK what people are complaining about with the tracking or the software, all of that is fine. SUPER comfortable to use, and it has very nice weight to it.
Cons: The buttons on the side get dirty easily and are hard to clean, kinda. The braided cable has frayed about 4-5 inches from the mouse a bit, but nothing is exposed so it doesn't really matter, it just bothers me a bit.
Overall Review: Worth the money, not really anything wrong with it.
Lenovo Y50
Pros: -SSD isn't 8GB, it's around 25GB -The screen can go from kind of bright to pretty dark, easy to use in the dark -Looks great, keyboard and the case attract many eyes -You can drag the left or right edge of the touch pad to use the windows 8 side bar things(like where the settings are, idk what they're called) -Going from a desktop keyboard to this keyboard is easy because the keyboard is decent and isn't bendy or anything like that. -Full size number pad and arrow keys -Variable brightness on the keyboard(off, medium, full) -Webcam takes good video/pictures -2 USB 3.0 ports -Gaming performance a little better than my desktop(AMD fx-6230 & 750 ti 2GB) -Doesn't get too hot -Power cable stays in well
Cons: -Programs it comes with take about 5 minutes to get rid of -Fingerprints stick to this thing almost as bad as glass -Touch pad isn't the best, but I use a mouse 90% of the time anyways -Some weird backup button next to the power button -Only 3 USB ports(2 3.0,1 2.0) -Doesn't come with anything to clean fingerprints off of the computer or the screen -Touch pad allows input from palms while typing sometimes -
Overall Review: -Battery life is ok, around what you expect from a powerful laptop, it lasts around or a little over 2 hours on medium brightness without gaming -Can't use the 860m unless it's plugged in -Prople are complaining about the screen. The screen is fine, I haven't noticed any color issues. It produces colors way better than the TV I was using.
